So, obviously I'm not meant to have fun while playing League if I want to ever stand a chance at doing anything other than losing. The champs I enjoy playing just aren't viable unless they're played by a Korean LCS god (and even then, it's more efficient to just play a clicker), so they're no use to me.

Can someone just list off all the braindead easy, boring as hell champions that just roll their face and instantly win any fight? Seems like that's the only way I'll ever amount to anything in this game where laziness is rewarded far more than any amount of skill or effort.

At your elo, if you can't go up, it isn't the champion. Until you hit mid to high Diamond, champion picks mean jack shit.

It's far more important to be skilled at your champion and understand game basics than just picking something considered "OP". What champions do you like but think they suck?

It's not that my champions suck, it's just that they can't compete against the broken things that Riot calls balanced. Where I have to like, aim and think about what I'm doing, someone like Fizz or LB comes along, smashes their face onto their keyboard, and walks away laughing as I instantly die.

Still, what champions are you wanting to use? Just because you love a champion doesn't mean you are good at it; that may be something you have to accept so that you can improve.

I own Ahri, Ali, Annie, Ashe, Azir, Braum, Corki, Ekko, Eve, Ez, Fiora, GP, Garen, Gnar, Heimer, Jayce, Kass, Kayle, Lucian, Lux, Yi, Nid, Poppy, Riven, Shaco, Sivir, Soraka, Syndra, Tahm, Teemo, Trist, TF, Twitch, Udyr, Vi, Voli and Yas.

Of those, I play Ahri, Ali, Annie, Ashe, Azir, Braum, Ekko, Eve, GP, Gnar, Kass, Lux, Nid, Shaco, Sivir, Raka, Syndra, Tahm, Vi and Yas. I have both good and bad games with all of them, but more often than not, I have horrible games. Doesn't matter how perfectly I play my champ, doesn't matter how well I know who I'm up against, doesn't matter if I know exactly what I need to do to beat people, it just never ends up that way. I can land every ability, every skillshot, everything... but then I get clicked on and instantly explode with no chance to dodge or anything. Can't dodge targeted abilities that deal half your health in one hit.

However, some champions are just far too easy and do far too much damage. LB? Yeah, my first game I went 19/1, and only ever died because I dove their entire team. Fizz? 18/6. Yi? 18/5. I felt like I was cheating playing those champs, because I had no idea what I was doing or anything, but still just absolutely dominated my lane.

Ahri is a B-tier if not A-tier mid atm Ali is an A-tier support Annie is and has always been one of the most versatile, high-relevance champions in soloQ in multiple roles Ashe is an A-tier ADC Azir is a weird one who's super good in competitive but pretty bad for soloQ unless you're a god Braum is an S-tier support Ekko is p bad at the moment i will admit Eve is the Goddess of Solo Queue (keep an eye out for the sequel, titled "Nobody Buys Pink Wards" and the spin-off, "Riot Goobed Stealth") GP is literally God right now. You can play like complete shit, and as soon as you get Triforce + IE you can kill the whole enemy team Gnar is still a strong top pick with good matchups Kass is eh unless you're in a good matchup Lux is something like 8th highest winrate of all mid champs right now Nid is a demigod of soloQ jungle Shaco is troll af (please see "Riot Goobed Stealth") Sivir is still a strong pick (and she doesn't synergise with attack speed, by the way. bork sivir is horrible) Soraka is almost impossible to lane against Syndra is a decent pick Tahm is Le Counterplay Master xd and very, very strong atm Vi is Le Counterplay Mistress xd Yas prob won't get you far unless you're in a good matchup with a good comp and you're good at Yasuo

there's more to this game than champions fighting champions, and consequently there's much more to it than how abilities interact with each other. if you fail to recognise that, then your own views are part of your problem. you play plenty of point-and-clicks yourself, and sometimes even perfectly (!) according to your griping, and yet you haven't gotten far. you play annie. you play GP, the god of point-and-click faceroll crit. vi ult is probably the most frustrating point-and-click in the goddamn game. your frustrations probably come from a combination of three things:

you're better than your team, but not good enough to carry
you're actually not as good as you think you are
you're unwilling to learn from people who are better than you/you don't recognise who's better than you

Those are assassins. That's what they do. Their ability to 100-0 a target is what they are good at. But they do have weaknesses. They both have mana issues and poor wave clear. And as mobile as they are, if they do get caught they can just as easily get busted down. If assassins are giving you trouble buy into tanky mid laners like Swain, Galio and Vladimir.

Figured a bork would work well against Nasus, guess he's too balanced for that.

Tear helps me with mana as Syndra, but it's not like mana would help me with skillshots anyway -- hyper mobility makes sure that's irrelevant.

Why wouldn't I build Lich Bane? That's most of his damage.

Bork works well with Sivir, she works well with AS.

So this boils down to, things I don't play are OP and need to be nerfed?

Sustain (ie Nasus) beats DPS (ie BotRK) + Gnar is way more useful grouped and teamfighting than throwing his body against a Nasus all game long. Your job is to go Mega and scoop, not to duel Nasus.
Tear delays your power spikes way too long. If you have mana problems, learn to manage mana better + get blue buffs. If you STILL have mana problems, buy Athene's instead of Morello every game. If you STILL have mana problems, find a new champion to play.
Way better to build Kass as bruiser AP caster (augmenting his whole kit) than to go for the full squish damage item that only synergises with his W.
Sivir is for wave clear and pressing a Go Fast button to mow down the enemy team. She does not synergise with attack speed whatsoever (she even has an AA reset on her W), and she does not favour long, drawn-out fights where a BotRK champion would shine.

Tear is overkill on Syndra. All you really need is 2 Doran's Rings and decent skill with CS'ing. Either way, rushing a Chalice on Syndra is a very popular thing and provides just as much, if not better mana sustain than a Tear or Doran's x2.

Hey, I just checked out your match history, instead of tear on syndra your better off with chalice into athenes or Morellos. Tear is a great item but it brings no combat stats.

I do not have an issue with the Bork on Sivir as last item because of their team, but I would have personally built scimitar or bloodthirster

With gnar I usually first item black cleaver > frozen mallet / steraks gage if against a nasus. I only ever get bork on gnar if I am way ahead and killing lane repeatedly. It falls off late game when your main objective is to go mega gnar and smash people into a wall.

Kassadin is in a weird spot right now. He works against some match ups, but is not really strong until he gets his items.

I find too many people in bronze-gold build Rod of Ages when they are not farming well and/or behind. It really delays your damage potential and presence on the map. I know it is listed in the recommended items for several champions, but unless your getting 8 cs per min or better just don't bother if your behind. Your better off with flat AP

well there is one simple solution... right now everyone crys: morde op, darius op, gp op. play those champs if you wanna "faceroll win fights".

Hello! So first of all I think that you should be having fun no matter what with this game. Realize that that's all it is and it makes the playing experience a lot better. I think that you should really just buy champions that interest you and try them out. You're not gonna be a pro right off the bat and that's okay! One piece of advice I'd give you is to let go of past games. Don't carry the negativity that happened in one game into another because you'll end up playing worse and getting angrier at the game. And to answer your concerned about OP champions in the meta right now, Riot has actually done a pretty good job at balancing the game at the moment. Right now you don't see anyone crazy wrecking everything without a way to counter them. Don't give Darius kills, make sure to dominate a Vayne early-mid, build health against Fiora. Everyone that's really powerful right now can be countered. Also, in my opinion, there isn't anyone in league that can just face roll and get a penta kill. Even Katarina has some skill level needed. Granted, when certain champions get ahead, there isn't much you can do to stop them (Vayne, Darius, Fiora, Nasus). My biggest piece of advice would to be to go out and really learn about the game. The more knowledge you have of champions, the map, objectives, etc. the better equipped you'll be to face the challenges of the game. I suggest watching ScrapComputer's channel on youtube as he has, in my opinion, the best guides that go into great detail about topics that and champions that really help you out.
