How to Beat Rito in the Pool Party Challenge (Image Tutorial)

So, as a community, we're not doing all that well on getting points for the Pool Party contest right now.

I figured out from speaking to others in-game, a LOT of people don't know about chat room functions in the client, so here's a basic tutorial for such, in 4 simple steps.

STEP 1

Locate the following area of your LoL client (bottom right corner) and click on the middle icon. This is the chat room tab.

Type in "Pool Party" and hit the magnifying glass symbol to join. It'll most likely be full.

What do? Chat rooms are 200 people max, so join the next one. "Pool Party 1" "Pool Party 2" etc. As many as we need. If you're the only person in the room, just chill out and wait. More will join if the others are full.

STEP 2

Start a game. Don't be a nab and click solo queue. Hit the Party button. In the following menu, locate the most important button you'll see for the next 4 days.

STEP 3

Click that glorious button. It'll take you to another screen.

The handy-dandy "Chat Rooms" tab at the bottom is a very, very dear ally for beating Rito. Click it, spam click the + signs until your 15 invites is full, then invite them. Repeat as needed, being sure to not invite the same person twice.

STEP 4

When your room finally looks like this.

Hit the start button. You've done it. Congratulations. Win or lose, you've helped to add five points toward our fight against Rito. Win one match like this and you're eligible for the rewards. If every player who plays LoL in a month does this until they win one game, we'll rek Rito's meter and blow it through the roof out of the water. Get on it, people.

"Very effective method of beating Riot in the Pool Party Event! Works 100% of the time! Riot employees HATE HIM!"

Can confirm, gives you a straight out better experience too.

I believe the bar was set way too high for the pool party event.

I love it. I had so much more fun using this rather than solo queue. :D

This is great^^

Now I have a chance to participate 'cause my 5-man backed out at the beginning of the week due to the chance of getting Mundo on their account.

I tried to tell them Mundo goes where he pleases, but it didn't work :(

Not everyone likes socializing with other people. Some players are on tilt really bad. Some players are having personal problems in life and play League to avoid people. Other people just want to be left alone, and they aren't obliged to explain themselves to you. These people barely feel comfortable playing in duo to begin with, and most 5-man premades tell you to get on voice chat to talk "strategy" or kick you out.

Good job making us lone wolf players feel guilty for playing in the way we feel most comfortable, as if being put up against 5-man premades every other normals game wasn't obnoxious enough. I wouldn't put it past you to be one of the first people who posts about how players like me "failed the community big-time" if we don't reach Tier 4.

This is a good idea. I just did it now and it's amazing how easy it was.

i'm not good around people. Every game is serious to me, and when i over react or start getting toxic/negative people are just toxic back at me. I have a problem.

The cruel enemy, RitoTek, was holding sales and free stuff away from the citizens of the Rift. In order to stop RitoTek's evil plans, an organization called B.O.A.R.D.S., or Battle Organization for Apprehending RitoTek's Delectable Stuff, bands together to get the citizens of the Rift their free stuff.

Except there is no way to balance MMR like this. I lost 6/7 matches I played like this, getting stomped every time. Last game I had a bronze II and a bronze V on my team, other team had a platinum player. Fuck this pool party shit. I'd rather play by myself and play with people who are actually at my skill level than waste my time on shit matches trying to get shitty prizes.

If your name starts with a number and you join at least 3 different pool party chats, you will get spammed with invites.
