Mother of god, I don't think I've ever seen someone play that many ranked games in a single season. In some ways your number of games is a greater accomplishment than getting gold. You are truly an immortal for how could you kill something that has no life?

But seriously though, congrats. I also just made Gold, though I think I would have gone crazy if I had to play that many games though.

P.S. You'll climb a lot faster if you limit your champion pool.

i feel really bad, ive played no more then 300 ranked games this season and im gold 2, and i started from silver 2 or 3.

P.S i have like 1-3 champs per role, and thats all i play in ranked. (playing shaco in ranked causes tilt for both teams, while you go around taking towers, killing squishies and letting people chase you around the map)

i generally dont either, but hes pretty much a joke. hes a league streamer that plays only drav and flames if he doesnt get it(this was also before dynamic queue). flames and tilts like the seven god of hell. as several ban accounts, and any account that riot finds how that he owns is permabanned.

Oh wow, yeah, I'm not that bad. xD I just get upset if some bullshit champ like Akali or an ADC just clicks on me and deletes for me no other reason than they clicked on me, and start yelling at my screen. xD Every now and then I start ranting in all chat about Riot being greedy and rewarding incompetence and all that. :P But it's very rare I tilt that hard.

I'd still make a terrible streamer though. I'm really quiet, and have twitches and tics from my anxiety so I'd weird people out. :P

This season, I have 1600 games. Last season, I have 1500 games. And then I have another 800 norms. So, just about 4,000 games.

4000 games in 2 years.... at 40 minutes average per game (I'm including the time it takes to queue up in this probably actually more time than this).

4000 x 40 = 160,000 minutes 160,000 minutes = 2,666.67 hours = 111 days 111 / (365 x 2) = 15.21% of your time in the past two years has been spent on League. When you consider 33% is spent on sleep that's almost half of your time gone right there. Scary.

I figure you would eventually get there from just playing enough, so congrats.

You did complain a lot about teammates though on these boards, and that attitude will not help you climb through Gold.

Some things to keep in mind:

A lot of Gold V players are about as good as most Silver I or II players, they are sometimes worse
Players begin to improve in Gold III and higher and it is noticeable
A lot of Gold V players don't adapt quick enough and get "bounced out" or they stop playing
Narrowing your position and champion pool is pretty important in climbing
Toxicity is significantly lower in Gold in comparison to Silver - though it might be comparable in low Gold
People don't feed as often
People don't chase kills as often
People usually have a much better sense of objectives - a pretty common play after losing an inhibitor is for the team that lost the inhibitor to do baron
