Never seen it, but if it exists, its prob cause runeglaive makes it so his q can apply luden's echo. Runeglaive is complete ass right now though lmfao i think people are just trying it out cause reddit. Late game it only does like maybe 200 damage while lich bane would be doing like double that along with MS more mana and more ap

It exists because it makes his early/mid game (where ap ez really struggled) better. Allowing him to more safely work into late game where ap ez is at it's best. I never attempted ap ezreal before runeglaive because I figured it was not worth the early game struggle when there are ap champs I could play that have a much easier early game, better wave clear, and can carry into late game.

When you realize an uncompleted runeglaive does more damage than a completed one. Sheen is 100% base AD and runeglaive is 75% so u need like 90-95 ap to break even with sheen. If you rush lich bane, it'll give u 80 AP instead of 40 plus movespeed plus 50% ap ratio rather than the weak 30% and 40 ap on runeglaive I don't know why people are doing it. It's completely weak. Stop wasting an item slot on an item that has a 30% ap ratio and 40 ap.

Runeglaive also gives his q an aoe. Also in the next patch runeglaive is getting buffed to 50 ap and 100% base ad. So you get similar damage for 1000 less gold.

Runeglaive is aoe, lichbane is single target. Faster wave clear. Replenishes mana when Qing jungle creep (free mana sustain from chicken camp). Access to challenging smite. Like others said, allows ludens proc.

Gives him a better early/ mid game due to his mana item building out of sheen and allowing him to farm/ push more.
