You will most likely get one gank, if any, and you should expect this when playing a champion without CC. Stop complaining just because I don't want to waste my time blowing ults and summoners on the Riven that's just going to triple Q and E to safety.

Faith Breaker1 votesYou don't gank just to get a kill. Junglers with your mentality give real junglers a very bad rap. You are literally responsible for a large piece of misplaced anger. It's hard to tell the legit junglers apart from the people that jungle because they believe it's a fautless role and cite of copied pasted and memorized excuses for everything they did or didn't do. I've seen people sit in their own jungle and not gank at all and push lanes solo when people fought over dragon. It was obvious the guy was ignoring his team on purpose, because I was on the opposite team and for some reason the drama was in all chat.
The guy had an excuse for everything, when what it really was Lee invaded and took his red (didn't even kill him) and he unhinged from there.
You don't come up with reasons for why you don't gank a lane. You find another role to play if that's how you think when you jungle.

You also don't gank a lane where you won't get a kill, or at least blow their summoners. I never gank cc-less lanes unless the enemy is low, I have hard CC, and they're pushed up. There are obviously exceptions but the general rule is fine.
Zoratu1 votesWell if your top laner is getting smacked by their top lane it is good to gank just to relieve the pressure so he can farm a bit especially if its a ranged champ. If their jungler figures out you wont go top and their top is winning your top is just gonna get dove and die.
Celosar1 votesI'm of the opinion that I will gank your lane if you aren't super low and you don't have the enemy camping out in a teepee under his turret. If either of those is the case, well, tough shit. You are begging for the enemy to gank and kill you. You probably also don't have any wards in the river or tribush.
My personal favorite thing in LoL is when my lanes are competent and Don't REQUIRE ganks to get ahead. They ward and don't give up kill to the enemy jungler at an alarming rate. This leaves me to farm like a madman and get ahead of the other guys becoming more powerful for the upcoming end to the laning phase.
Then again, I main mid so I'm a pretty greedy guy by nature I spose.

Zoratu1 votesBut if hes pushing like that and your top laner has got their top laner low you might be able to dive. Also if their pushing like that they are most likely ahead so if you wait for their jungler you can get an easy double kill.
Celosar1 votesI feel like the concept of controlling a creep wave is something that is as, if not more important than learning how to CS. Just because the wave is pushed doesn't mean your laner is ahead.
There are like two champs in the game that it's impossible to NOT push the wave with. Kayle and Tristana are the only two off the top of my head that can be forgiven.
edit: But, yes I agree that you can possibly dive if the are low.

Im a top lane main and controlling the waves is important because you can freeze the lane and zone them or you can push to attract their jungler then you wouldn't really want your jungler to gank because your bringing their jungler top to relieve pressure in other places and to let your jungler take drag or gank bot/mid (if you want to carry from top lane this is a good way to do it).
But I was talking more about low elo like bronze silver and gold most people don't know how to freeze or ward their lanes (in my experience) so even if they are ahead they will just constantly push and the enemy jungler will gank and your top laner will lose thier lead. I actually used to do this a lot and it was one of the reasons I was in silver and gold.
