How to even play against click gods?

So, I've been playing League for about a month now, and I have both good games and bad games, but my worst games are when I'm against a team that has no skillshots, and does SO MUCH damage from auto attacking that it's just stupid. I don't know why Riot decided to give the players who put in the least effort and have the least skill the ABSOLUTE most damage in the game. The champs I enjoy playing rely more on abilities than clicking, but in the amount of time that I cast all my abilities, some clicker comes by and does easily 5-6 times the damage I do. I just don't see how it's really fair and balanced, but it is what it is... so, how do I play against the clicker gods without just spontaneously exploding?

Well, see, I don't really like the whole banning thing. I'd rather learn how to play against champs I don't do well against rather than just outright avoid them -- because what happens if I do get thrown against them, right?

Champions with targeted abilities, or who rely on auto attacks also rely on vision in order to use these abilities, meaning if you can stealth or go into a brush during cool downs, you reduce a lot of the enemies damage, targeted abilities generally have a shorter range than skill shots, meaning if you are able to keep the enemy at a distance you can generally out damage them. Ranged auto attack based champions are also normally quite low in health, resistances and often base move speed, meaning you want to try to get right next to them, and all in them, which will also make it a lot harder for them to dodge skill shots.

There are these roles called tank/support that have things called CC( crowd control) that decimate any yi in sight. A stunned yi is an unhappy yi.
