PSA that you're not supposed to gank when

Your allies are still walking back to the bot lane. Even at full HP against two half HP enemies, you're going to get CC'd and die. Just don't. Or even when just one of them is gone. A jungler with an unfinished item is not going to help the ADC alone or the support alone kill the enemies early on.

THINK before you gank.

Edit: Yes, there are situations when you could get the kill, but

  1. It's not going to happen when you're behind on farm and the enemies aren't pushed.
  2. It requires that the enemy support be: too low on mana to use abilities, a support with no early CC, and/or disconnected/lagging.

Edit, because someone thinks All Caps makes him smart: Yes, pressue may help if the lane needs to be held. It doesn't do any good, though, when you die.

i agree with most of what you say but there are situations that you can get the kill. ps junglers have jungle routes and laners need to try to use this to help the jungler too. being pushed bot means the your jugnler cant gank and help you and if you pinging for help while pushed even wrose cause that means you cant see it your self

And/or stupid enemies. Seriously, I had a game as Jungle Twitch where the enemy Darius just first blooded our Cho Gath. Instead of going back, he was spamming laugh on top of the corpse at 1/4 hp. I avenged Cho 20 seconds later. Why do people do this? I have no idea but no complaints here.

This problem with this is that you assume the only succesful gank is one where you get a kill. Please do not think this way.

Any form of pressure, any form of threat is an advantage. If you never show up, you're never a threat. Being in lane is like having visitors while youre in the hospital. You like to see the enemy in the lane, but you would much prefer it if he were to go away. Ganking and even just doing some damage, causing the enemy to back off, buy, or just play passively is a tremendous help to your ally laner.

THIS IS NOT TEAM DEATH MATCH. THIS IS A STRATEGY GAME. KILLS ARE NOT THAT IMPORTANT
