How to deal with people at my level?

Hello,

So I'm level 19 and I've recently gone on tilt going 5-15 in my last 20 games before that I had a pretty good win rate around the 60% mark. Anyways as of late I just seem to be get pairing up with people who just seem to lack common knowledge of the game, here are some examples.

:What's a sightstone? : Udyr you're ADC where's your Infinity Edge? : What's a scrying orb? : Glass cannon AP Soraka is the best. : I'm not coming to gank your lane I'm jungler I stay in Jungle. : What's wrong with Warding Totem 40 mins into the game?

Yeah and many more rookie mistakes like that, how do I work around this? Not to mention I lost some games to afkers

**Of course! ** They are not even level 20! What else would you expect!?
There is a reason why matchmaking heavily favors players under level 30 being grouped together, those players are still learning. That's what the first 30 levels are for, learning League of Legends.

Well from a lot of the games I see you playing you don't seem to be building the right way. I know everyone has their preferences but like with the kennen game you need to build him full ap. Not like hybrid which it looked like you were doing idk. You probably know this already but you can just go to lolking.net to find builds for champions, great site if you didnt know it already. I know this doesn't always sound fun but you may want to try maining a champion. I hated this at first and i played a ton of different champions every game myself until i found a champ that fits my playstyle and I think is super fun, Rengar. I main support or Mid with a variety of champions.

As for the Kennen game top lane is my weakest role at the momment and team started fighting with each other 5 mins into the game and at 10 mins It wasn't looking so geart so i figured I'd build something different since I was bored and frustrated with the team argument. As for any other build If you could explain in which way to build becaue I'm still pretty new to league and no I already know not to look up builds on lolking haha.

Anyways thanks for the advice.

Well you can build most champs in any way but if you give me a champ I can give you what I generally build on them and that may help a bit?

Alright so with support you generally want to build situationally depending on the enemy team. I will try and make this pretty in depth for you so it can be of some help

Always start item 3302 on both of them, i always cringe a bit when I see players start item 3301 because it really is not as strong as the others. First back you should always try to get 800 gold and pick up your item 2049 This may not be that important at your level since i'm not sure how good of junglers there are but im assuming their not great. But it's good to create habits because warding literally wins you games by getting you kills on the enemies that are out of position and saving yourself from enemy ganks. You may want to look up a warding tutorial to help you with some of the best spots to ward. When you pick up your item 2049 you should always swap your item 3340 for item 3341 and try and use it where people commonly ward to try and deny vision from the enemy team. Next is pretty much situational, you may want to go straight into upgrading your item 3302 into item 3401 . For boots, you generally want to go either item 3117 item 3047 or item 3111 although you can probably make a case for buying any boots. General rule of thumb is just build defensively for their strongest player. If they have a 15/0 annie, you will definetly want to get and if they have a 15/0 vayne, you would want to build . Get if you plan on roaming a lot and applying pressure to other lanes as it will make you go a lot faster when out of combat. A really key thing to note about supporting is that you need to make sure you use your item actives. There is no point in getting a item 2049 if you dont plan on warding ever and no point in getting item 3401 if you dont plan on using the active shield ever. It is super important that you get these items. Personally after i finish these core items, I will get item 3105 if they have a fed ap mid or a team comp with a lot of ap champions. If they have a lot of ad, I like to get item 3110 . From here, you need to go just full tank. Your job on the team is to try and protect your carries, and create picks on the other team. For tank you may want to invest in item 3143 or item 3102 as they just provide great stats. Anyways I hope this helps a bit for building, the one thing you have to realize is you can't just build the same thing every game. You have to learn how to build situationally according to the other team which can be hard to do at first but it will make your gold a lot more efficient.

Thanks for the advice I'll try my best to incorperate them into my game next time, I always wonderd If I should've started relic or ancient coin on Blitz but never really got around to looking around so I always went ancient coin. Anyways thanks again for your guide much appreicated.

Wait why not look at guides on lolking??? I use that for all my new champs I play lol or just go to probuilds and see what they build.

You'll be playing with a lot of people with very poor game knowledge while you are under level thirty (and for a while after reaching it, to be honest), since most sub-thirty players are new to LoL and MOBAs in general. My main advice is to just be as polite and encouraging as you can while trying to make yourself better. Offer friendly advice on a single specific topic if you see someone is really struggling, making sure to always be clear and civil, and generally try to not say anything to another player that you wouldn't say to their face. Keep in mind that your game knowledge is also imperfect and that some of the advice you get from other players (especially the helpful variety of smurf) might be worth considering.

Yeah I do offer advice sometims and It just ends up in a tantrum or they don't do It at all and I do try my best to be polite in any manner since I'm not a fan of in game arguments anyways, but thanks for the advice.
