Korean Solo Q vs. NA Solo Q

This may be controversial to NA solo queue culture.

I find that NA solo queues never(like never in my point of view) surrender a game, no matter what. Even if there is trolls in team and end up having 3 mid players or 2 adcs; the game goes on until 20 + mins.

Generally when this happen, Koreans just abandon the troller and let the opposing team push mid, end the game at less than 10 minutes so they can actually 'enjoy' the game. Not to mention every single player reports the person, post the troll's name on community website so the troll cannot play the game with greetings from fellow summoners.

For me, after playing Korean solo queue, the NA queues are dragging an obviously trolled and ruined game out and embrace the suffering that is coming out as outcome.

It may seem silly to some of your point of view, but it seems to me that Koreans are actually trying to play to win, and let go of the inevitable loss as quick as possible. But, as conclusion, they do create the world's best league of legends players which is proven at the All-Star match last weekend. I cant say "This is THE reason for Koreans success", but I think NA should learn to give up the game at the right time so the culture of win establishes.

I'm not saying you should never surrender, but I am definitely reluctant to surrender if we are just losing a bit. If it's 20/0 by 5 minutes, then ya, we are fucked, but 20/10 at 20? We can do it. Now, as far as trolls, like guys literally wanting to fuck with the game, I will surrender those games at 20 minutes as well. If they seem to be taking it seriously, but go some strange comp, I'm fine with that, I've won plenty of games with non-meta comps. I have never given up so hard that I wanted to encourage the other team to end the game before 20. I always put in some effort, even if it's not my best if we have a troll or an AFK.

The reason is that NA players throw games ALL THE TIME. Why surrender when there is a very good chance that you can come back and win? In Korea, players don't make stupid mistakes once they get ahead. In NA, people get cocky and start making horrible mistakes, that opens the window for a comeback. The only time I will EVER surrender a ranked game is if I have an intentional feeder and we are down 30 kills.

EDIT TO MODs:

This does offer a piece of advice and is therefore fit to be posed in tips and tricks.

EDIT TO PLEBS:

This is a copy paste of an old "Vampiral" post on the old boards.

This is a really interesting idea. But how quickly can you end a game? Even when letting a full team push up the shortest lane, it would take a while at low levels.

Yup the more ranked I play and the higher I get (started gold 5 now plat 3) the more likely I am to surrender games I am "suffering" in to move on. If a helpless game goes for 35+ minutes it leaves a salty aftertaste that I don't wanna take into next game.
