If you can keep under one death in the first 25-35 minutes, your team will listen to your friggin pings and follow your lead in most ways. Additionally, those 5-7 deaths you didnt have make a HUGE difference in terms of farm and the enemies fedness. My teams havnt really been any better lately, but by not dying I have put myself in a position of leadership the past two days and its fucking worked.
QueenAqua1 votesSadly, that's not the case majority of the time for me. I was a 21-3-7 Annie in one game, had no deaths when it was 30 minutes in game. Team wanted to Baron with it warded and the entire enemy team was there. I pinged them to back off multiple times and they got killed and baron got stolen by enemy team. I got killed defending base against the entire team at full health and we lost. They didn't listen to me at all all game.

Ok Ill admit, essentially the same thing has happened to me. Its not fool-proof, but it really does give me some political leverage when I choose not to go in. I ping yellow and turn around. My teammates sometimes follow because they know I really will leave them to die

But having baron buff lets you kill minions faster and defend yourself in the short term.
