taric all the way bb
Taric is nice and easy to play and at 1350 IP is cheap. His style is that of a sustain/kill lane. He usually plays super passive early on and only uses his stun to peel for his ADC. Then heals and walks away. He generally doesn't even use his W unless he wants something to die and for early aggression he is arguably one of the worst. He's just not very good in this current meta. He's a niche champ at best right now as he shuts down the super mobile people with his point and click CC which can be used as a simple way to shut down a Kalista. What makes Taric really rewarding to play is how strong he can be with very little items. His ultimate when active allows him to dish out astounding damage and tank considerable punishment. If he can lock them down long enough Taric can actually outduel an enemy ADC. If this is what you look for in a support than Taric may be the one for you. Pink armor sold separately.
Nami right now is the support who sets the bar for where supports should be. She's the middle ground in terms of strength and probably the most balanced support champion right now. Nami is a poke/sustain champion. She whittles people down with her poke all while keeping her ADC and herself in good health. She is great for anything that likes to frequently make trades as well as anything with a shortened range or anyone with a 3-hit mechanic to their kit (Vayne & Varus). Her bubble is easy to dodge though so your main forms of harass will include using E on your ADC or yourself and then using W to heal/poke when the gap is close enough. Q is your best bet at peeling and Nami's ultimate is a great tool for engaging or disengaging mid-late game.
My vote is for Nami.
