The best trick to winning more games in solo que is

Dodging.

People often confuse LP with MMR and this is an important concept to understand when dodging. LP is just a visual appeal while MMR is what really effects your gain/loss in Ranked. When you dodge you lose 0 mmr points but you do lose a little LP. If it takes 100 games to get from silver 1 to diamond 5 if you were to win 100 in a row. Dodging a few here and there will not effect how many wins it takes to get there. It will still take 100 wins. When you dodge a lot, you only go up to 30 min wait time max.

Why would you dodge games? Well first lets understand the amount of time you waste when you don't dodge. Say you have a Kat mid, Ire top, Tf Jungle, Janna support, and Ez Adc. What's the first problem with this comp? Engage and Teamfights. Sure you could win lanes possibly but what happens when the fights become near even and it's 5v5? How the hell do you even engage with that? Tf stun? But that puts him at risk. Ire engage? What follow up? Tf will be waiting and so will kat while support is just peeling. Ire blows up, they go deep into your comp , and you all die. Dodge this.

If you were to not dodge this match you would have a high chance of losing and on top of that you would have to win "two" more to make up for that one loss. That is playing three games just because you didn't dodge vs dodging and winning the next game. 50(including time in que and champ select/load screen) x 3 = 2 hours and 30 minutes. If you dodge you looking at one hour to one hour 30 mins. That's an entire hour or more saved assuming you actually win two matches in a row after that loss vs just trying to win one. You actually save time dodging.

But I wont get to play as much*. Well I didn't know you went into ranked for fun and not to actually win and get elo? If you seriously want to get to the high rankings of league and you believe you have what it takes. Then start dodging.

What about promotions? Dodge those two unless they are the tier promotion into a tier that you believe will be near your skill level. Like Plat or Diamond assuming that's as far as you can get. If it's not those, dodge, and you will gain more lp/lose less lp for wins losses.

Right now I gain 24-27 lp per win and lose 12-16 lp per game and I have over 2k games this season. This is truly the best way to go up the ladder and avoid the trolls as much as possible if you really have what it takes.

(As the season ended I tested playing all the matches and I dropped all the way to plat 5, I'm currently re-doing the dodging process to go back to Diamond. It really works.)

This post is created by an inexperienced OP, please do NOT listen to this.

NOTE ONE: If you're good enough, you can carry some of the most saddest, pathetic games. Of course not all.

NOTE TWO: Teamcomps dont matter until d3+.

NOTE THREE: The comp you listed is actually very strong.

Ezreal and janna can poke them down under their own turret or enemy's

Tf and kat proceed to clean up, irelia acts as a wall to block skillshots and clear waves with R.

Your win rates are atrociously low for someone who was in diamond 1. You failed to list that the more you dodge, the more lp you lose. And no, the max isn't half an hour. It's an hour. The same amount of time it takes to generally win a solo q game and lose one.

Every time you dodge you lose 10 lp after your first/second, so if you do get demoted down to platinum you're still playing with people your elo. And if you don't belong with people in your elo and you lose... You essentially twice as low to fix your mmr.

That's why it doesnt work op. That's why this post is obsolete.

ALSO NOTE: You only gain around 15-20 lp per win because your mmr is platinum 3-4. If you want to correct me, do so with a picture + before and after on op.gg.

Fair enough , However if you're dodging it would make it very inefficient to lose 10 lp & wait an hour than to just lose 15. If players deserve to get out of their respective ELO they will win more than they lose, so it's better to climb while improving as a player
