So, I have questions on how to fight certain champs / classes.

So, I know that I'm bad at the game, I won't pretend I'm not, but there are just certain champs that I have no idea how to even farm around, let alone play against. I'll just list off the ones I have issues with, give a little blurb about why they're so awful, and hopefully you guys can help me.

Riven -- I go ANYWHERE NEAR the minions, and she instantly kills me. Then she runs around and instantly kills the rest of my team. I can even be under my turret, and she'll fly at me, instantly kill me, and run away before more than one turret shot gets off. My last match with a Riven, she went like 17/1 or something stupid like that. How in the world can you even fight her?

Garen -- I can poke him for 50 damage out of his 3.5k HP, and yet he has 200+ AD with no AD items. Where does all that AD come from? Not only that, but he just passively has like 500 move speed, and can catch anyone. How can I even compete with someone who's simultaneously invincible AND able to 100-0 anyone near instantly?

Fizz -- Same with Riven. I go anywhere near minions, and he flies through them to instantly kill me. If minions aren't there, he just dodges everything I try to use on him, and pokes me once and I fall over dead. How can you fight someone you can't hit who also moves faster than you and quadruples your damage? : /

Renekton -- Kind of the same deal as Garen. No matter what I do, I can't hurt him, but he can nearly instantaneously kill me.

Warwick -- Basically, if he wants me dead, I just drop dead, no matter what I do. I can build a QSS to get out of his ult, but then he just autos me to death within a half a second. Even if I do hurt him, he just heals any damage back up faster than I can deal it.

XinZhao -- With Sated Devourer, he just destroys me. Charge, Q, instant death. What can I do?

Zed -- The only issue I have here is his R. The mark itself isn't what kills me, I just instantly die as soon as he uses his ult. What's going on?

Shaco -- I can be a full tank, but if I'm his target, I instantly die. What can I even do against that?

Then, ADCs as a whole. They click on me, and if I'm range of their auto attacks, I fall over dead. Even if I'm playing a tank like Tahm, I just drop dead in front of them. What kind of counter is there to 1000 damage per hit that shreds both squishy and tank alike? Literally two auto attacks can kill me if I'm not a tank, and if I am a tank, it takes maybe two seconds of auto attacks to down me. How can I even play against that?

It seems to me that all the easier champs perform FAR better than anything else. I don't understand how that's fair or balanced, but whatever. I mostly play AP champs like Azir, Syndra, Ekko, TF and so on, but I also have Fiora, Tahm, Corki, Riven (I don't like her, she's boring to play, honestly) and Yasuo. I do every role, but if I ever run into these champs/classes I listed, no matter what the role, I'm just screwed.

So, what can I do? It's just not fun to play a game where you can't even compete. The longer I play League, the worse and worse I get. I rarely go positive anymore, and I rarely get any kills in the game. Oftentimes I have to just abandon my lane despite having gotten no turrets down because teamfights have started breaking out, so I'm not even getting objectives at this point. I want to enjoy playing League, but it's just not fun to have my ass handed to me match after match. : /

TL;DR: I'm bad, how do I fight against all those pictures, and how do I fight ADCs without spontaneously exploding?

Well, Garen's a lil' overpowered right now, Riot's playing with him.

You seem in general to be overexaggerating the damage output of these champions. It could be this after you fall behind, or you're getting out csed a great deal. Anyways, most assassins, especially the point and click ones, are best countered by some armor/mr. That, and grouping, they're mostly single target. For mages, Zhonya's usually does this best. These champions are usually particularly strong early game and rely on getting kills to be relevant late game. You have to respect their early game power, accept you may get bullied some, and don't be in lane with low hp.

you're basically overexaggerating the damage of everyone. unless you've fed them 10+ kills they wont be that ridiculous.

Riven i fucking hate playing against her (or with her) but just make sure she doesn't snowball. if you do give her fb don't try to trade with her.

Shaco he is annoying but you're over exaggerating. ward deep and cc him. he's squishy and offers 0 utility.

Zed exhaust lol. do it a few seconds into his ult. get peel. he can't really one shot you unless you're really behind and he's really fed

Warwick if he's doing that much damage he's either glass cannon or riduculously fed. just build qss or get your team to cc him when he's ulting

I'm an ADC main, and if you want my advice on how to fight them without spontaneously exploding, I'll tell you what I hate most.

  1. Hard CC. ANYTHING hard. Mercurial Scimitar can counter 1 stun/snare/mark/anything except knock-ups every 90 seconds. Most hard cc is on a lower cooldown than that, especially at high ranks. Point and click stuns/knockups/suppresses like WW ulti, Lissandra ult, Vi ult all end up with a lower cooldown than MercScim, and if you're willing to deal with landing skillshots, there are plenty of champs like Ahri, Elise, or Syndra who can land hard, annoying CC at like 5-10 second intervals.

  2. Randuin's Omen. Right now, this item not only reduces my attack speed when I'm hitting you, not only slows me down so your team can catch me, but also now can reduce my crit damage by 10%. Now let me explain the math. Say I would normally do 100 damage with an autoattack. If I crit without IE, I'd deal 200 damage. Randuins means that instead of 200 damage, I deal 180. That's a quite notable damage reduction. Now if I've got an IE, instead of 250% damage, I deal 225% damage, which means that that instead of a 1000 damage crit, it's reduced to 900. Note also that this damage reduction applies before resistances.

  3. Assassins. These guys are literally designed to blow up annoying squishies like ADCs.

Try all these things. Vi with a Randuin's omen, BC, Triforce, Sunfire, Warrior Stalker's, and Ninja Tabs is super easy to annihilate an ADC on. Ult, E, Q, E, dead. Time elapsed like 4 seconds, of which 3.5 is under hard, un-Cleanse-able CC. Ofc, this isn't as great a frontline Vi as a Cinderhulk and tank build will be, but it is good at taking down ADCs.

First start by making sure that your rune page and mastery page fit the champion that you are playing. -I have 9 rune pages and 12 mastery pages to accommodate the different champions and play styles for each match.

Next make sure you gear armor correctly. -I find the times I struggle is when I guess wrong with who's in my lane. item 1054 is nice to start with, but only if I'm laning against AD. -Against AP. I will often grab item 1033 instead and wait on minions spawning to buy my item 2003 Also one or two MR items should be fine, stack armor and HP, unless you are against 3+ AP champs.

Also, it is okay to hug your turret and farm it out just take summoner 12 so you can return to it quickly. The above champions you listed are played by aggressive people. They tend to lack patience and worry too much about their KDR. Two really good scenarios usually take place. -1- They will eventually they tower dive and as long as you poke them, you can use the turret to help kill them. -2- They don't get any kills and can't build fast enough to snowball you and your lane. If your jg ganks and the rest of your team rotates lanes well you end up feeding your team.

Finally; this guy! Shen Lord and Master Shen Learn him....

This is for the anti-Zed people out there. i main zed and this is just what most people make mistakes about laning with zed. Most people forget about his shadows which can either let him be on ur heels in an instance or can do extra poke or even a slow so just keep ur distance if possible. Zeds Q if its the first target hit it does extra damage so in laning phase just try and to say behind ur minions but be careful for openings for his W+Q combo. Zeds R can be kinda tricky to get used to since the only dmg it does is the mark which has a 100%ad ratio but also deals a certain percent of the damage he did the the target during the mark, but if u are dieing before the mark goes off then that means he is pretty strong at that moment which as utility when he cast his ult it places a shadow where he was standing when he ulted so there is an extra source of dmg he can deal along with his W and ult shadow he can hit u with 3 shurikans :Note to add is his E even tho u can get hit with 3 u will only take damage for one of them the others just apply a slow. Now how to screw any zeds day and most people have already figured this out and that is if u have a stun or a root or silence if u put it on him the second he lands with his ult he wont do hardly any damage or even potentially even a correctly timed flash can make him miss a kill
