Seriously, EVERY SINGLE TIME I win a lot of matches in a row, I know a disaster will soon happen. After a single loss, It seems like EVERY SINGLE GAME is on ultra-hard mode. I can't win, doesn't matter if I win lane, win others lanes for my team, ward and stuff.

A Wise Fool2 votesnah its not that man. i personally do my damnedest to improve my game. i dont look at my loses, i dive into them to try and figure out why. the thing is though that when you pay that much attention to your losses you notice when there are consistences. whenever i have a winning streak (i win lane and my team mates win their lanes) i then go on a lose streak (i win or lose lane and team mates all go even or lose). this always happens man, i feel ya dropfill

The problem is : Most of the times, on win streaks , I win 5 games. But on loss streaks , it goes to 8+. Makes no sense. It is not probability, since when I win a lot and lose one, a loss streak will come doesn't matter what.

Loss streaks can be explained by many things. The most common reason is playing on frustration or loss of motivation. You even said it yourself, you can feel the losses coming, resulting in you loosing motivation to analyze the game as you would normally do and loose games more often. This could also mean you feel frustrated and are tempted to make riskier plays. Failing those plays would put you in a great disadvantage, something you would not normally do.
You could also be placed against higher leveled people who are duo'ing with lower levels, or you just having a bad day. Just make sure you take breaks if you noticed you loosing a lot of games. It might help :) Promise.

AMYS GRAVE1 votesi've noticed this too, unfortunately their matchmaking queue does this. i think it has something to do with the fact that it overcompensates for winning streaks/losing streaks. so if you win a few games in a row you will likely be hit harder, then you will be blessed even harder, then you will be hit even harder yet and so on and so on. if you do manage to win a hard game or lose an easy game then i think that stabilizes the match making somewhat but it could really use a little work.

Leti the Yeti2 voteswell, its not trying to fk you up exactly lol match making rating in theory you get paired up with people near your rating as yougo on a win streak, your rating goes up till you are paired up with even better people than before now they might fk you up eventually you just hover back to about 50% win rate, where riot thinks its ideal currently at 55% out of my last 20 games.. so Riot isnt gonna assrape me no lube just yet Back when I was power IP farming with XinZhao, I had 75%~80% win rates lol

My guess is that the system doesn't account properly for the difference between average team MMR and individual MMR. The system sees you are on a hot streak and starts giving you better opponents to see if you deserve to advance. In a 1v1 game that would be the correct solution. In a team game like LoL it causes lopsided matches.
