Lich Bane Proc on Amumu?

So I messed around trying an all offensive Amumu build, AP. I realize the build may not be optimal or even fully practical lol, but again, I was messing around against a bot (so please no "Why would you even build that way" comments). My item build was... Archangels Sorcerers Shoes Nashors Wits End Lich Bane Manamune

I never spent much time as champs with toggle abilities, like Amumu's W, but I noticed that keeping it on would proc the Tear in Archangels and Manamune whenever its proc came off CD. So I was just wondering if keeping his W toggled on would also proc the Lich Bane?

No.

Lich bane activates when you "cast a spell"

Tear, if you read, will activate on mana expenditure.

This means if you have an Archangles and a tear, and use Archangles' active, it will actually proc tear.

Tear/AAS/Manamune will continue to gain charges if you're expending mana. It applies to all abilities similar to Amumu's W.

Sheen items are different. They require an ability to be manually casted. Therefore, toggled abilities don't continuously trigger it as they remain active.

Along those lines. Does that mean it'll proc when that ability is casted/toggled off? Just curious since you can't toggle off when silenced so that makes it a spell cast I think right?

No it doesn't proc lich bane because its a toggle ability.
