I come home.

I boot up league, it is visibly lagging. Client is running like shit. It seems to figure itself out. I boot up a ranked queue.

I notice some skipping, but nothing bad.

I get to loading screen, it crashes.

No worries, I am able to load it up right away and get back in. Shows me at 10%, but the dial in the top left hand corner.

Seems to be taking forever to load, and I'm becoming suspicious.

I finally connect, to see that I am a leaver and the team obviously voted in favor of remake.

So in other words, I did absolutely nothing wrong. I booted up a game of league only for the client to tell me I wasn't allowed to play, it was my fault. Because your client is honestly the biggest pile of trash I've ever seen.

Thanks for a great gaming experience, I suppose this means we'll be getting a 13th Lux skin.

Thanks to lux, ashe, and ahri riot is going to release a fighting game next year. They can't afford league servers when they are developing a fighting game.

whenever I see riot and marc merill posting about their GiRlS cAn CoDe on social media I laugh. Yea sure, more virtue signaling and woke programs will fix your shitty client for how many years now?

I mean it's poorly worded but this person isn't wrong. When you hire someone not because they're capable of doing the job but rather because they suit your "diversity quota" you end up with incompetent employees.

Would you ever allow a non dentist to guilt trip you into paying them for dentistry rather than going to an accredited dentist regardless of their sexual orientation, skin color, religious/political affiliation being seen as inherently "bad" by others?

Don't hire people that make your company look good, hire people that can do their appointed job(s) and that will make your company look good to us consumers.

The new client has been acting up for me too. It lags for up to 15 seconds to champion select and when I try to change a rune im sitting there watching it get stuck and crossing my fingers it goes through by the game start.
