Maybe you can handle the "only women and non binary allowed" as a bad PR move but essentially they we're trying to do something positive. Even though i was dumb, shitty and should have never been a thing. Come on like you guys are a multi billion dollar company, how did this idea make it through even spit balling?

But your representatives of you game are getting far too political for no apparent reason.

Froskurinn chastising white men online and Reddit. Not only getting too deep in gender politics but actually defending the idea of sexism being a good stand point of ideals because women are at the brunt of sexism. Which is true but the execution of it is appalling. Imagine having a room for suicide help saying "No women or non binary people allowed" only because men have a higher percentage of suicide.

Furthermore, Daniel. A rioter telling concerned patrons of the game to "fuck off and sea lion some where else." Like what the fuck, this guy is responsible for a game we all love and play.

Riot is getting too political, yes it is nice to advance minorities in workplaces especially in ones such as gaming. But teach people about being united, together and as one. Not given priority because of ones genitalia.

This is honestly just unprofessional. If you want to be treated equally how about you stop showing off your sexuality so aggressively in public. It's not normal to do that, it always looks like these persons are overcompensating and it's not received well and as a result they end up excluding themselves.

When I think of Phreak I think he does great patch rundowns and he is a great caster with a lot experience. Phreak might be gay for all I know, I don't care about that. Froskurinn is an extravagantly styled woman who want's everyone to know the she is lesbian.... also seems to have the tendency to speak louder than everyone else.

I'm sorry but people at the workplace should be there based on their qualifications, not based on whether they're a minority or not. Not saying minorities are less qualified. Yes saying merit>diversity. There's my two cents. Also, Daniel Z Klein has been known for being a SJW extremist for a while now. The most toxic type of person that exists.

So I've always disliked Froskurinn for having terrible analysis, biased arguments, and terrible charisma (she is after all co-hosting with others)

But now I get another reason.

XD I don't want to hate her, but that is literally nothing to like about this woman.

Like, if she could at least get some respectable ink instead of that 5 dollar splotch on her neck I could at least like her for something non-lol related.

I would question the positive effect, if you give special treatment to groups who just want to be treated like everyone else. This is literally the opposite of inclusion.

Outside of the whole sexism debate, this is just plain unprofessional. I mean, regardless of whether you agree with him or not, a Riot employee absolutely should not say this kind of stuff. It’s one thing to state your beliefs and something else entirely to insult the intelligence of players everywhere. Is he trying to destroy Riot’s PR more than this whole thing already has? A company as undeniably successful as Riot does not need an employee like that who has no eye or ear for constructive discussion and only makes a bad situation worse. If he loses his job, then good riddance. I can work through poor game design (not to invalidate anybody’s complaints; I just have an “IDGAF” attitude when it comes to that), but I draw the line at shit like this.

When something like this happened in guildwars 2 Arena net fired the employees. I would be happy with that, just because you work for a company, doesnt mean you SHOULD BE an ass to the players.

The saddest part it, if these comments were pointed at anyone aside from straight males this asshole would be fired already (remember Sanjuro?). Having an employee directly insult and attack your customers is completely unacceptable, but if Riot took action against him they'd be torn apart by the same rabid SJWs they are trying to appease here.

This is simply not true. Riot is not political enough and you are responding to how they are awkwardly trying cover their tracks in the face of accusations of misogyny lodged against their company work practices.

If Riot cared about these politics and did things with better forethought and less perjorative holier than thou mansplaining from Riot men, it would be far less problematic.
