The state of the game is making people more and more toxic.

Note: For 9 years, I have never been chat restricted nor banned in my entire time i've been playing League until now, i used to be the tilt proof, chill, shot calling guy, until this season.

Griefing and toxicity is higher than ever, people are giving up so easily and are starting to rage more nowadays because of this one sided huge damage fiasco meta.

Knowing that there's barely no chance of comebacks nowadays, people have started flaming more at the simplest mistake, because of its heavy repercussions.

Trolls are inting and getting out scotch free and ruining games, giving away free kills, causing your enemy laners to snowball out of hand, and you can't say anything to them, because that would hurt their feelings and be considered toxic.

People are having more Losing streaks than winning streaks, because negative players have more impact than positive players nowadays, which causes more toxicity.

Somehow Riot Games is ok with that, i have never had this much Losing streaks in my time playing League, even tho im not the best player, i try to win, but i do not like how one negative player can have more impact on the fate of a match, than a positive player. You cannot reprimand anyone now, or you'll be punished for at least trying. Riot games condone inting and trolling, i havent had one report feedback message in a while.

I finally lost it and gave up in my last ranked, i had enough, The troll rage quit and got out free, while i instantly got my 1st ever chat restriction. I have been trolled too much lately, with matchmaking not in my favor, with people inting out of control, i went on my worse losing streak ever.

The client is shit, Honor system is garbage, i managed to lose my honors in the space of a few weeks, while i have always been one of the most honorable players. I realised i have become toxic the 3 months i came back to playing league after 3 years of playing on and off, i realised that its the state of the game that caused that change in me, i used to play for fun, now there's no fun at all,

This snowball meta is toxic and makes you feel helpless, which causes frustration. The game is getting worst, and will at no point be getting any better, Riot Games have targeted a specific market and changed the game to match their demands and by doing so, have absolutely ruined the game for players like me (mostly western players)

I am sure that there are plenty of players out there, that feel the same way as i do, most of them do not enjoy the game, but can't quit because of addiction.

Let’s not forget this is coming from a 9year player...

I’ve been here since season 1. A lot of what made the game fun for me is gone.

Just think, now they want to buff tanks through adding damage to sunfire cape...

Oh great more damage.

Come backs are possible, but it's blatantly obvious that most players don't enjoy a completely and totally unbalanced laning phase even if they get a chance to come back, but also not all champions have a realistic chance to make a comeback, some champions can be counterpicked to make them garbage early and they remain garbage.

Especially toplane should be balanced very carefully, because it's a side lane where you are on your own and you can get punished extremely hard and then the power difference snowballs extremely quickly. But Riot doesn't even try to balance match ups, they literally enforce counterpicks, for solo queue this is absolutely unbearable. The whole concept of Juggernauts is a manifestation of this terrible design philosophy.

Honestly man, I think it's your mental

Sure, I could agree with there being a bit more trolls than last year but in my ranked games 9/10 the worst person on the team is at least trying.

Games are so comebackable now too. Not only are dragons a win condition in it's own, they also turn on late game with souls and such. And then we have elder Drake which can turn a match even better than before even without dragons.

The client is crap but when has it not lol

Snowball meta was s8. Games last 20-30 minutes on average right now. So unless you want to argue that you can snowball for that long without winning then I don't know what to tell you

And just quit if you don't like the game. If you have an addiction that might be a sign of other problems so I suggest you get help from a professional or something.

Nothing is wrong with taking a break

Damage is just too high, it makes the team with the idiot lose almost every time because people can go farm and tilt this player and get the team tilted and toxic

and because of how impactful deaths are now, even though they have always been the worst thing you can do, one death can lose the entire game now mid game it's aids

The system is completely messed up. Think about it, someone is getting reported literally every single game. Every single game someone doesnt play to the standards of another player and that leads to them instantly assuming they deserve a report. Riot has millions of players every day and every day hundreds of thousands of reports are getting placed, they cant keep up with it so they are forced to use mainly an automated system to handle most of the reports, I just received a suspension due to no negativity, the team got mad at me the jungle for not playing to their standards and ganged up to be toxic towards me and agreed to all report me in one game. 4 reports in one game is going to lead to action being taken regardless of the situation. Literally seconds after I got out of the game I tried to queue only to find I was suspended. Theres no possible way a human had time to review the game and decide whether it was suspend able this leading me to believe an automated system was behind it despite riot insisting and I quote "the amount of reports a player receives has nothing to do with how quickly or if at all action is taken". Back to my previous point of how mainstream reporting has become, it just encourages people to troll, reporting players for literally anything has become so apart of the game that it happens every match, it's insane to the point that reports dont have any meaning. My recommendation is to limit the amount of reports a player can make, i.e. 2 reports within 24/hr time frame or whatever number they decide is fitting. This would make reports have meaning people arent going to report others simply cause they did one minor thing that someone didnt like. I've played this game for years and admit when I first started playing I was toxic and lost my first main account to perm ban after spending hundreds of dollars on the account. Now I'm risking losing my 2and account because I cant so much as type anything in the chat that anyone disagrees with minutely otherwise I'm in danger of being reported and losing my account.

It's nothing to do with the state of the game. Maybe a few factors, but for the most part people just need to make sure they can control themselves and their emotions. A lot of people that can't control themselves end up not caring or just intentionally ruining the game for others. That's why people int.

The state of the game is not what makes peoples mentality, the mentality comes from the community itself. There are so many ways of making comebacks as well, it's called stay calm and play it out instead of raging your little head off.
