So, someone who actually plays WoW...
Is it actually any good right now? I hear so many bad things about it, but at the same time I hear a lot of good things about it.
It's just I have nothing to do right now. League really doesn't interest me right now with how terrible balance is (all through S7 too, not just preseason), but the game itself is fun (if I play certain champs), and the competitive factor is addictive. I used to play WoW, but I quit when WoD launched since every class I enjoyed was turned braindead. So I tried GW2 and had fun until I hit 80, since there's nothing to do. I loved Wildstar, but the game died off unfortunately, and that's when I picked up League.
Thing is though, I never really liked MOBAs. I tried League before, and I didn't enjoy it. But I have nothing else to do right now, and I've been game hopping... I picked up FFXIV and was having fun with it because of the story and the art style / music, but having hit 70... the end game is just a let down. It feels like some cheap Korean MMO with half-assed mechanics and classes, and the UI is so terrible because of consoles. I just don't enjoy it anymore. But, if I quit FFXIV, I have nothing else to turn to except League.
So, is WoW even worth playing right now? I played WoW from the launch day of Vanilla to the 6.0 prepatch. My favorite time in WoW was from Wrath to MoP (MoP and Wrath being my favorites), and I enjoyed how the classes worked then, with lots of RNG and interesting mechanics, plus the raids were actually fun.
I just don't know what to do. Bored out of my mind. : /
