What are the drawbacks of vayne and lucian?
besides being insanely cocky,what are their drawbacks compared to other adcs? Vayne can self peel and outplay almost everyone,Lucian just keeps shooting.

Vayne has a crap early game, she gets destroyed by a lot of other adc's. Lucian falls off late game compared to hyper carries like kog'maw or vayne.
Vayne has a rough lane phase, and she's fairly difficult to teamfight with
Lucian is almost useless if he doesn't get fed early
vayne has quite a smaller attack range so CSing can be difficult in laning against cait for example but she usually makes up for it.. late game vayne hmghhmfghgh
Like these other people have stated, Vayne is easy to control early in the game, just poke her down, as she has very low base health until she gets items. She just has a really weak early game and laning phase. So has a crazy high outplay potential and high skill cap, but just has a very hard time early in the game.
Lucian has strong duel potential early game with his passive, but if he can be controlled in the early game, he needs serious time to scale, and then falls off into the late game as armor starts to build and his passive is no longer very useful. At that point his ultimate is his only really useful skill, used for zoning and controlling objectives within a siege.
