I generally go skirmishers warrior, botrk then tank. Could titanic hydra be a viable item for my tank items?

I wouldn't think so LOL

He needs the life steal anyways, and titanic doesn't do as much damage as hydra

i like it on him

makes him deceptively bursty with the active because sated will apply it twice if it's the double-hit iirc

If you are going warrior, then Go Ravenous for the better lifesteal and DPS. Titanic Hydra's main damage is the on-hit effect, so if you intend to use it, go for Devourer instead.

Titanic offers higher DPS and burst and scales better into late game, but is bad with a low AS build like you are using and has poor sustain compared to Ravenous.

auto attack resets are not very good for nocturne.

depending on which nocturne build you are chosing, i would recommend going either one of these three: warriors youmus IE devourer botrk bc cinderhulk sightstone randuins/deadmans

later on as like a fourth or fifth item, you can probably build titanic on any of these builds but its not priority

Ive been trying to follow in injakens footsteps since he is considered the best nocturne NA. He almost always goes skirmishers warrior then botrk and tank. Why does he do this then?

because it works for him i guess. you can do whatever you want, even build titanic hydra. nobody will come to your house and uninstal the game from your pc if you build differently.

maybe hes just more experienced with nocturne than me and this is the ultimate build. for example, i have a shyvana build that is much much better than devourer botrk, like at least double the power and nobody seems to know about it so there might be other builds for other champions that are also much better and nobody knows about. maybe not even ninjatom or whatever his name is.
