I went veigar APC because im not a very good adc and we already had a lot of AD. He started off the game by complaining bout that. 5 minutes in he said in all chat "veigar useless trash cser". From that point on, anytime he died, he would say "veigar useless report troll toxic". Now I didnt do bad at all. Late game was amazing and i was crushing everyone who got near me. But every time I made a mistake he would say report me for useless troll. We lost of course (RIP first game of promos). For some reason, everyone on the enemy team just said "its your team, im not reporting". They even saw him calling me a douchebag troll in post game chat. I don't know why im really posting this here but just had to say it.

You don't need to ask the enemy team to report. As long as you haven't been falsely reporting people, your report will have the same weight as 9 reports (more reports don't do anything).

I've never heard the thing about "having more reports don't do anything." Unless he provides some kind of link, I'd take what he said with a grain of salt. From what I have understood it is that if said person gets consistently reported a lot they will get banned or some other form of punishment. I've seen a player get punished within minutes after my game has ended so I don't think there would have been time for riot to just check if the report was "true" or not, it was more likely because he got 9 reports from a single game and had more reports in the past.

each summoner in League of Legends has a "report rating" hidden in the client that shows how much weight their reports have. If you consistently report people who didn't do anything wrong (Riot has automatic systems that check your reports), your report loses "weight" until eventually your reports literally don't matter.

This is what he means by "as long as you haven't been falsely reporting people". I don't know about having the same weight as 9 reports, but it definitely does matter that you only report people who are really behaving inappropriately (and that means your reports will have a higher chance of doing something by themselves).

I've seen rioters make comments a couple times that they don't look at if they receive 9x reports really because it could be the person had a really terrible game or outside issues going on. If they're reported consistently across games though it shows the behavior is a pattern and not just one incident where maybe there was irl shit going on. That said I still report people even if I know they're being reported by someone else bc it's cathartic and I like the little messages saying someone I reported was punished.

Also to me it just seems bm. If a player is raging in all chat I'm gonna report them anyway because I don't want them on my team. 90% of the time if I see someone ask to report them they have been arguing w/ the rager and I'm more likely to not report the first guy, or report them both bc my experience is that if they were on my team I'd have to mute them both. Sometimes I've had players no my team who argue w/ a troll and when I ask politely they'll just mute the guy and stop arguing but I'd say it's 50/50. I'd much rather mute the troll and be able to communicate w/ my team than have to mute teammates who would otherwise be behaving totally normal and suddenly I can't communicate w/ them and work to win the game. I don't want either of those players on my team honestly bc even if the second one isn't as bad it's still hurting my chance to win bc they are arguing instead of working to win w/ the 3 non troll players.

Just my 2 cents though. I hope you get the message saying someone you have reported was punished. That guy sounds like a jerk.

1.APC = Ability Power Carry 2. If the rest of your team is AD, and youre going Burst AP, NO MATTER WHAT LANE YOU'RE IN, YOU are playing FINE, because its BALANCING the team. 3. if you cant handle a Bot lane Mage, dont play bot lane.

Just popping in. Sucks that guy was a total dick.... As for the whole "bot lane mage" debate here. It doesn't really work at higher levels of play/elos etc. Theres a ton of reasons for this but mostly comps without an ADC champ pretty much fail (even with other AD's). The only exception to this is mordekaiser because of his absurd amount of damage, the dragon and his xp/pushing advantage. That said, people won't really punish you for playing stuff thats off meta so go for it! I bet though you may have lost that game because of a lack of pushing power from your team comp (no clue). But report that dick and keep on keeping! I hope you get nicer teams in the future. And climb a lot. That too.

Except he pretty much said that the rest of his team were AD (try finding a good comp like that without an ADC), and whether an APC works bot lane is entirely dependent on both team comps. I've seen platinum tier ranked games with a Cass or Brand bot and the ADC mid, and they steamrolled.

It's because this stuff is designed to catch people off guard/cheese them. Also you will pretty much always see an adc SOMEWHERE if people do this. Problem with this sorta stuff honestly is that your duo lane isn't as effective. Mages are gated by mana so they can't just stay in lane and farm forever 'till 1st/2nd item like adc's can. Realistically an ADC can trade, farm and lane with using fairly minimal mana. Even when an ADC runs oom, they still have strong auto's to trade with and push with. A mage bot, if you can't get the cheese off, will run oom trying to trade eventually then be stuck in lane oom (and essentially useless) while an adc's strong autos will shove the lane and quickly push to tower or just bully the mage. Furthermore, a lack of an ADC in a comp overall results in a HUGE lack of pushing power from comps and most likely a lack of sustained dps (which adc's have the most of in general). I'm in plat currently and you rarely see cheeses like this happen. However, you either get steamrolled or you steamroll when someone cheeses like this. Maybe if you got a really strong pusher and just shoved and used the pushed waves to back without missing cs it could work (pretty much morde). But idk ADC's just work better bot honestly. More pushing power

Jungle doesn't have enough gold for an adc to function at 100% damage/power. ADC itemization costs so much. Most kindreds you see right now don't build stuff like IE or PD or BT. Just because those SUPER expensive items that are realistically what make adc's so strong late game (seriously can you imagine if tanks had equal slot efficiency to adcs, it would be insane). But kindred doesn't have enough gold since shes a jungler (unless she snowballs) so that means less dps for your team.

Technically, it was ability power caster. In more recent times though it has started shifting, and now that Morde bot is becoming a thing it's been suggested that we start calling it a "bot lane carry." AP bots are definitely trickier to pull off, but if it works, oh lord does it work.

One could also play Corki (even when built AD still deals good amounts of magic damage), Kog'maw (deals pretty good amount of magic damage especially against tanks who are the most likely to stack armor to try and counter a full AD team) or Vayne could work I guess with the % max HP true damage to burn through the tanks and well the carries and the other squishies probably don't have much armor even if your team is all AD

True. But what if he had none of those? I dont have them either. Its true that those are good options, but he also said that hes not good at adc (like me, im beggining to feel cloned XD). Personally i would do the same thing, but depending on their team i would have picked a different champ ( i usually dont pick veigar unless i have too, although i main him (WEIRD RIGHT??))

Well there is also Mordekaiser I guess which Riot is trying to push as a bot lane carry (though he is kind of boring in my opinion as he can't really do much other then wait for his support to set someone up for him to walk up to them and smash them with his Q)

Well in soloQ and normal games pretty much anything can work

I think what bothers me is the lack of empathy from enemy teams. Sure when there is an AFK, I am livid, because at least the flamer is still in your game and you can mute them. But when you go into post-game lobby, after in game asking for reports, and everyone on the enmy team leaves, it's just somehow more disheartening. If I win cause of an AFK, I always still report, and say sorry for the afk. But when the enemy instantly leaves feeling all happy cause "I'm Riven, and I carried that game, I'm so pro" and not helping spread good habits about managing the community: this is what's sad to me.

Reporting an AFK is useless, leaverbuster works on its own and it would be an intellectual shame if you were to repor someone who was a victim of a crahs even thought your report won't affect them.

I'd rather people go what they're good at then they they need to go as..

I sometimes go Teemo APC bot lane. It's a lot of fun blinding the ADC and laughing as they do no damage and getting double kills.

I sometimes wish I had someone to climb ranked with me who was good as heimer..

and we spam Teemo Heimerdinger bot lanes till people finally started to get smart which may not be till higher silver... they might build MR.. idk... xD

The way I do that botlane is special from other teemo dinger botlanes.. and it's soo funny to watch a KahZix come into lane to gank us.. and immediately leave realizing we just took a good chunk of his health before he even touched us.. The funniest thing ever...

I wouldn't count AD Pantheon and Lee Sin jungle as "A Lot of AD". But you were decent in the match statistically but kills don't win games, objectives do and that is something your entire team lacked was pushing objectives down. You can chase all day and go 40/0/0 and lose horrible to a team with 6 kills if you aren't getting objectives down and lanes pushed. Getting kills should lead to objectives going down and just from what I'm able to see this was not the case. Toxic players get their thrills from watching you tilt and do steadily worse, for me I mute my team and pay attention to the map and pings, let the talkers do their talking.... I prefer to play the map and do anything I can to win the game regardless of what the rest of my team is doing. Solo Que.... remember this DTA Don't Trust Anyone. Do it your self and do the best you can no matter what. Lane needs pushed and team is chasing enemy around... go push the lane past mid and see what else needs done. I've played many games as a jungler that did absolutely nothing in team fights as I was trying to save turrets and lanes the rest of my team seemingly forgot about once they seen a wounded enemy walking past a ward on the other side of the map. Many games I've ended up a good 2-4 levels higher than anyone else in the game yet only had scores ~2/2/3 and 4/2/6 while everyone else is sitting in double digits around the board simply because I went for objectives and clearing waves and jungles along the way. Oddly enough I've won quite a few ranked games due to people forgetting how to play the map and spending time mindlessly chasing each other around looking for kills while I pushed lanes in and watched the enemy base go down to minion waves while my team was behind in double digit kills or better and down by a ton of gold too. (yes I'm bronze so this doesn't exactly mean much to the Gods in better/higher tiers so save the flaming my low status, I have accepted I'm trash)

I wen't into a game trying to play mid diana. In champ select, i picked diana and the one guy just immeadeately goes F U. I ask him whats his problem and he says he wanted to try diana jg. I say its no prob, so i pick heim mid. Next, I die first blood to the mid veigar because we had a close trade in which my stun missed. Our support thresh starts shitting on me about how im bad, and also using the beloved phrase of F U. Later into the game, we're coming back and a rekt this enemy janna, who, believe it or not, yells F U in all chat.

Like, people need to calm down. I had three people telling me F U in one game, where i gave the one guy his role, agreed with the other and helped him, and didnt even do anything to the third one. Seriously, do people actually get this mad? It was a normals game to, so why in hell would you be so stressed? People need to either chill or disable their chat.

It's hard to break the meta when your team follows it. For example we (our ranked 5's) breaks the meta by taking morde jungle with a support. tank bottom lane. fighter top lane.

Sadly you can't do much for flamers like that but you what you can do is just justify what you pick by doing good with it. People flame me all the time when I used to pick lulu top and call me wannabe dyrus fangirl but I would carry some of those lanes pretty easily which usually did the trick.
