both are QoL changes

No.

Both of them change the mechanics of Veigar. They are NOT Qol.

Just VERY minor buffs.

no reason to complain, a buff is a buff, even if its reallly small...

I mean if you are 2/x/11 now you have anywhere from 11-55 more AP. That means a lot.

Its not that common to happen though. Unless your team is picking up kills left and right, you might get a little bit of extra ap every once in a while.

It means Veigar can now play less selfishly when his allies are around. He can play in more conventionally optimal ways without being punished (by not getting AP from his Q passive).

The repercussions for his playstyle are a lot bigger than just 'a little bit of extra ap every once in a while'.

that's not even before multipliers like passive, dragon, or rabadon's too.

W change is actually really good

It feels better to use and since it technically has less delay (technically), it comes out a bit faster.

I would've preferred having the cast time removed but this is a nice change

Because it's a significant buff to his reliability curve?

Veigar no longer has to stress himself about getting final blows - if someone else secures it, he gets his AP. His AP scaling curve now literally always goes up, kill or not. Your ADC gets the kill and Veigar has an assist? Welcome to double dipping - both your carries are getting bigger.

His Dark Matter will impact his cage/stun timings significantly. It's going from 1.5s to impact to 1.25s to impact - tenacity users will actually have more trouble dodging it inside his Event Horizon cage. As is, at level 1 stun, his W can miss targets because the stun isn't long enough to hold them there.

No? Ap from assist is nice, but wont change much, depending how many assist you get (which wont be much, since you are a nuker, possible but not likely to get many)

There is the troublemaker :

inside his Event Horizon cage

His W will still dont hit if the enemy isnt caged. And the Cage is the one which should be buffed, or the whole kit need to be reworked (may god help us that this dont happen) since there is absolutly no synergy in his kit.

because it makes him better?

i would preffer buff the ratio of his ult and remove the enemy ap ratio

A buff is a buff.

What is the real problem?

None found

SirPacifista1 votes

No synergy in his kid and he will still not be reliable to be played in higher elos. His Playstlye wont change a bit, he will stay unreliable, thats the problem of the op.

I think the Q buff is basically just a QOL change. W change is significant though.

I don't see how this isn't a buff.

Because every point of AP on a champ with 2 1.0 AP ratio abilities doesn't add up and neither does making one of said abilities more reliable
