+16 when at 83... that's garbage.

I thought it was bad when I got +17 when at 80...

Honestly, it isn't hard, let LP go above 100. Just keep it as a rolling number. If you're at 99 and win and go in to promos with 117, then lose your promos, you end up at 95 instead of at 82, and thus are guaranteed to get back in to promos after just 1 more win instead of 2 again.

I only have a slight problem with ending up at 95-99 LP once. What's annoying is ending up at 97LP, going 1-2 in promos, getting put back on 80LP (so already, I went 2-2 and dropped 17 LP), then winning and getting put back to 97. 3W-2L should never result in a 0LP move...

Seriously?? I always though you jsut got a random number of LP after you lose series

No. It is based on MMR after series. Say you win 1 and lose 2, you will get a rather high amount of LP whereas if you lose 2, and do not win one, you will receive about 60 LP back. Lose series again and you receive about 10 LP less than the first time. Etc.

Which seems silly because if I keep moving up to be able to hit my series that shows I should get more slack because I'm proving in the long run I'm good enough to move up but clutching in the short run.

Not exactly. Chances are, you got lucky. The league system looks for consistency, or a constant winrate, and as this goes up, not only the difficulty to win goes up, but the rewards of winning. Literally the only way to climb out of bronze is do what I did, "git gud and carry". I am half serious. Find a champ you do not lose with. Twisted fate was mine. I spammed him and won every game for 2 weeks.

It's not always luck, and if it were the system would still drop them back down later if they were underperforming. And I do understand about carrying, I worked my way from B5 last season to my current S2. I'm not saying the system is messed up but someone that keeps hitting those series should get a little more of a push each time because it means they have a consistent winrate of over 50% or a higher MMR.

Well if you do lose a series, you have lost 66% of the games (Or 60% depending if in a 5 game or 3 game series), which does deserve an MMR drop.

It doesn't work like this, but I'm saying it should.

In general, you enter a series at 100LP.

If you go 1-2 you come out around 80. If you go 0-2 you come out around 60.

I'm saying if you were high 90s before getting in to the series, then go 1-2, you should come back out in the 90s, not around 80.

Its because your mmr is lower than Bronze 2. To fix this go on about a 7 game Winstead and you will start getting 30 LP a game. This is how I got out of bronze.
