Am i too much of a team player?

I usually focus on being a team player. Like what we can do together to win. But its not working out for me. Example if i play supp and get there apc and adc focusing me, all 4 people on my team were on a rammus. I tell them how we can win, example if mid inhib is down i say we should push top(i dont much like pushing bot first since baron is top)and ill go top, and its hit or miss if my team follows through with what i say. I shot call a lot but its not often that people follow. Should i just play champs like trynd and just rely fully on myself and stop being a team player and try to win it myself?

Okay so the first thing I would do is throw all that "Teamwork" bullshit down the drain.. In low elo your team is like a wet noodle. The easiest lanes to carry from are:

  1. Jungle
  2. Top
  3. Support/Mid
  4. ADC The reason I say this is because in the jungle you control the game. Its up to you to carry, not to rely on your team. To do that I would first: Play tanky champions. They can carry ANY game. Protect mid at all costs. Get objectives Ward FARM: please please please farm. Do not waste time standing in a bush for 1 minute just to do nothing. Dont waste time. KS.

embrace the dark side of the force i dont give my laners buffs till they earn them and take every kill and carry the game :D

if your trying to be a team player instead of telling your team to push mid see what else could be done

for example your team is Janna Ashe Gragas Katarina Tryndamere

do we really need everyone to push mid or could tryndamere push top or could gragas pick up the dragon

be sure to send someone suited for the job to do the jog ( you dont want to send kat out split pushing if you have tryndamere who could be doing it )

Hey Wolf :^). As support you have to be a team player because you can't really make many solo plays. The best way to make them follow you is to ping them and then do it yourself and they may or may not follow. You will always find team mates you just wonder what could possibly be going through their head. If you aren't playing support you gotta make the decision - like make sure to keep farming even after everyone starts grouping. If the enemy team is 5 man pushing try to be there to defend your turret on time. Or if you know there is going to be a team fight at dragon make sure you don't miss it. Try to do that while balancing your own farming. hope that helped a little.

When I read "Am I too much of a team player?", I heard in my head "Am I too much of a nice guy to get a girlfriend?"

Answer: it doesn't matter how nice you are (and you probably aren't as nice as you think), no one is obligated to go out with you. Being a good person is more important than being a nice person. Talk to women like human beings, because they are. Some may not go for your particular vibe, but almost everyone appreciates (or at least respects) a strong sense of self, and it's likely that at least one of the 3.5 billion ladies on the planet would appreciate YOUR sense of self.

Also, if you're asking this question and you're over the age of 24, you've either been traumatized and need help, or you need to grow the f*ck up.
