Number 1 key to winning solo queue

Stop being an ass. What does raging at people do for you? Nothing. You wanna win dont you? Then be nice to people. Honestly if all you people care about is winning then stop being such an ass. You win a ton more games by being nice and creating a positive attitude for you and your team rather then creating a negative one. Compliment each other, encourage each other and even if there feeding encourage them. Make them feel good about themself and your gonna win a ton more of your games. A lot of games arent even loss cause you have a bad team but simply cause your too busy fighting each other instead of fighting them. Ive come back from many games with teams who are feeding simply by not being an ass and being nice to them

This is 100% true. When someone start to flame at me for the mistakes I am making I just start to now care about winning and just more about getting away from the toxic people. I had a game a few days ago where I went 0/3 playing my main and was a little tilted by this, I knew what I had to do to come back and win the lane so I didn't call for jungler help who was busy snowballing other lanes. No one raged at me and no one spoke ill of me the entire game. In the end I was 9/6 and we still won. If you are constantly shit talking just to shit talk or targeting certain teammates who are playing poorly, always assume they will play worse and don't type at all. You aren't doing anything but padding your ego.

um no. I will take 5 toxic diamond players over 5 nice platinum players anyday. Guarantee you we slaughter them regardless of infighting.

All that matters is skill level.

The #1 key is to avoid needless talk to anyone , don't encourage , don't judge , just communicate for game related things , (ss , drake soon , lats go nash , etc...). Win / Lose doesn't matter give your best , leave the game , forget your teammates in the next 4 seconds.

its not even always someones fault if they are dying a lot. They might just be doing their job like trying to do damage in teamfights while their teamates suddenly decide to run away, or the jungler might be camping them, etc.

+1, and players being friendly makes you want to keep playing, not turn off your computer and huddle in a corner with a blanket over your head (not that I've ever done this...)

Can we get this pinned please? I'm pretty sick of playing with toxic trash... Just the other day this guy asked us our mains so he didn't ban them accidentally, and of course he banned them as soon as we told him, then he bitched at us for playing poorly lol

This... is so wrong.

Sure, you can say that people should stop being rude. That doesn't mean it helps them get any better. And no, you haven't come back from any game ever by being nice. It was by making good decisions as a team. Being nice takes just as much typing as being rude. The proper thing would be if you suggested people simply never use the chat box.

It obviously won't win you games where your entire team gets completely shit on but it will hold close games together and allow you to pull out wins you wouldn't have gotten had you focused on raging instead. I've won tons of games by just holding out long enough for someone on the enemy team to start raging and throw the game.

Simple five step process to win more solo queue games:

  1. Enter queue when not on tilt
  2. Type "gl hf" in all chat.
  3. /mute all
  4. Communicate with pings
  5. Don't get upset if anything goes wrong

I agree with you, but I'm afraid you have phrased this incorrectly. The real key to being good in solo queue is to help others out. Talking to them nicely is better than being mean, but you should help others out, this doesn't mean gank them but it means that you have to make sure your teammates know what they're doing. Make sure your adc knows how to kite and your support works well with him/her. Make sure your top goes tank (unless he/she is Chogath ) but most importantly focus on yourself, your own lane. Don't start rage quitting after you lose a turret. Remember it's never to late to turn the game. Teemo out!
