what happens if they have baron warded and send 4 people to contest while the 5th takes the free dragon?

Had this exact scenario hapoen. Our team was behind, we went to contest dragon which had just spawned in the early late game (+30min). No one was there so bot lane started it and then we got sight of enemies near baron...other three contested while we quickly took dragon. Then our jungler dove for the steal, and bot lane helped clean up once they were done using coin to engage from river. We got 3 kills a dragon and baron buff to maybe 2 deaths in the end.

This situation could easily have gone the other way haf we not gotten the steal anf been able to mow through dragon and close distance fast to clean up. It is a high risk high reward tactic that can work well or backfire. The team that was ahead never recovered after that enage and we used baron buff to turn the tide and win.
