So what are some tips for carrying out, because I'm so bad I apparently belong in Silver, so I will try extremely hard to learn whatever I can, and I swear I'll become gold one day. Just please give me some tips.
spam one or two champions. learn how to play them very well, and even if people counter pick you. you should have more knowledge of the match up.
First thing: Great job for admitting that you are what needs to improve, and for wanting to improve. I would recommend working on warding, CS (although yours is pretty good), and mechanics on your best champions and roles.
I'd actually reccomend using the ever-common trio of gnar/olaf/sion. Gnar offers a great dual threat (bulky stun-wall with a medium-range pesterer), Olaf is just scary in this patch with there being nothing that can really "stop" it 1v1 once it gets a kill or two, and sion is pretty easy to master and in the right hands (look at the chinese LPL/korean league if you want to see it in action) can totally ruin teams. Master that trio, and you should be a pretty decent "lane bully" presence. (If you need help mastering sion, I'm open to sharing links to videos/offering advice)
