Smurfs and 30s in new player games is still a huge problem

And Riot still does nothing about it. Have they even said anything about it? Do they even consider it an issue? This has been a problem for a long time as I recall, so they apparently have no issues with it. Theyre basically ok with the equivalent of jocks beating up on kids in wheelchairs.

Smurfs are healthy for the new player experience because they give new players opponents to play against while they're levelling up. If new accounts were limited to playing against only new players, queue times would be absurdly long. Have you considered how long this game has been out? Most people making a new account, the **vast **majority, already have one at level 30.

If you remove all of those players, or segregate them from the new players, then it takes 10 times as long for them to find a game and that's far more discouraging than getting your ass kicked a few times as a newbie.

If you're truly interested only in winning then there are always bot games or even ARAMs for you to play as you level up. You don't have to play draft pick summoners rift.

When I was leveling up my smurf I decided to be a good person and only play bots until I was lvl 20 :)

The much bigger problem is getting level 30s in their provisionals in my ranked games.

I think one of the big problems is also pre-lvl 30s duo queuing with high level players. I'm ok with it if they're the adc-support combo and just trying to learn something. But there's also games where the lvl15 is just dumped into toplane and gets destroyed. It ends up not being a nice experience for either player.

That said, I'm a new player who just reached lvl 30 and was hoping to get matched with bronze-silver players from now on and get more balanced games. But nope, Instead I'm getting thrown into the deep end with gold/plat players every game and the worst players in the game are usually high silver. What's up with that? I lose lane every time.
