S rank champion chest rewards shouldnt be tied to premades

Just saying. I play this game solo. I always have, and I always will.

It would be really nice if I didn't have to just relegate myself to almost never getting champion chests because I never play in a premade. Im not particularly skilled at the game, so the thought of unlocking chests for other champions outside my select few "mains" (which I say using the most general definition, because I really only have 1, that being Viktor) is pretty much a fantasy.

I don't really think this is too much to ask is it? Premade players already enjoy having advantages in the games they play through increased coordination and enjoyment since they are with friends and don't have to worry as much about trolls/toxicity.

Throw us solo players a bone here please would you?

That's not throwing solo players a bone, that's just removing a feature people can benefit from for playing with friends.

I'm not a solo player per se, but I often got problem getting any premade together so it's really frusrating.

I actually stopped playing alltogether for a while because of this.

I'm a solo player. I have 0 problems getting all the chests. I've played in premades as well, and a total of 0 of the chests that I have earned has come from a premade teammate getting an S rank. If you can't get S ranks, I'm not sure what you want here. Realistically, from my experience, keys are the limiting factor if you don't have issues getting S ranks. For instance, I have 5 boxes right now. 2 key fragments. I've already spent 20 wins this month and I've only gotten a total of 3 key fragments (one of those fragments I had 5 wins before the reset than it took 2 more games after the reset). Riot promised us that casual players wouldn't have to farm. 20 wins for one key has been the normal for me for 2 months now. With the non linear key chance, there's no way to get enough wins for even 3 of the chests in a month. 20 wins for 1 key is farm fest central. Support doesn't think so though.

Yeah, right now the system is not very kind towards solo players. Getting S- or above on multitude of champions for the average player is way too hard, playing with a friend who's good and you leeching off of him on the other hand is way too easy. I like your idea about a teammate getting an S and you getting a chest no matter if he's in your premade or not. Or maybe just lower the requirements from S- to A/A+ since those are way more feasible for the average player.
