Can you allow us to use either form of essence to unlock champion mastery 6&7?

Ive got my two mastery 6 tokens but I don't have any of the other requirements to get champion mastery. What I do have an abundance of however is orange essence.

I don't see why we cant use orange essence to unlock it as well. It almost feels like im being punished because the RNG decided to give me skins instead of champions.
