any TRUE bronze to diamond guides out there?

J Epstein··1 votes·1,544 views

Don't try to over interpret what I'm asking here. Sucks that some people can't comprehend simple words and over analyze things. Topic got out of hand, maybe this is in the wrong place? simply looking for a video for entertainment here, nothing more.

Looking for a guide or YouTube video displaying a true bronze to diamond(plat, etc) guide. example: new account, lose all placement games, then climb up.

EDIT: not looking for a "guide", more for a** documentary** type of thing. Not sure how else to describe it; Vlog, Stream, whatever.

the only ones i see are ones using their current diamond + accounts, which isnt the same because their high MMR helps them climb out.. and they dont have to fight as hard through all the feeds and afk's

I don't believe it can be done in one season like so many claim. Another Edit: Not saying it can't be done, just interested in seeing it, nothing more.

I went from Bronze 3 - Diamond 4 in Season 4...Correct your mistakes, you climb.

Corrected my original post to documentary.

I don't believe anybody climbs from bronze elo to diamond without any luck on there side. Vids or it didn't happen. When every other game i get an afk or feed (might as well be afk), i assume that person who climbed can 4v5 as well, so i would like to see it so myself.

Gosu once did a 24 hour stream vayne only from unranked to diamond

J Epstein1 votes

was this from a new account, starting in bronze, then climbing from there to diamond? how does he do a vayne only when he is last pick and only thing left is support?

Please share link.

it can depending on how much time you have to dedicate to it. Heck, I've done it in less than a month and playing only weekends. Granted I was placed Bronze 1. There is no specific "guide". It's not like a MMORPG where you do quests to level up to 70 or whatever quickly. Things are too dynamic in a MOBA for that to happen. What you need is to: A) find a good carry and learn to support so you both can get out or B) (And this is my preference) carry your own damn self out. Odds are the other bronzies you face are facing the same bronzie issues you are. The only way to deal with it is to get better.

"carry your own damn self out"

under that logic, you can 1v5 any bronze/ silver team

Godhri1 votes

It's not 1v5 per se. Obviously your team will still contribute in some way. Read the situation and react accordingly. One of your dumbass teammates is rushing in? OK! Follow him closely and focus the weakest/squishiest enemy that focuses him. I understand there are some situations where carrying yourself isn't easy or even possible but it's a viable enough strategy for getting you out.

J Epstein2 votes

Thats the thing, alot of people in silver fall under this 1v5 category. They are literally fighting a 1v5 every game. Teammates are just clue less and run around and feed, which cause people to stop caring and feed/troll next game. Because if anybody is gonna troll, it might as well be themselves right?

You say "One of your dumbass teammates is rushing in? OK! Follow him closely and focus the weakest/squishiest enemy that focuses him"

So you want me to follow him into enemy team who is grouped, get cc'd by enemy team, and die.... doesn't sound too beneficial.

Again, doesnt have anythignt to do with my post. i'm looking for videos that document a bronze to diamond +, including all the constant afk's/ feeds ont heir own team

Godhri1 votes

Your response to my scenario tells me you lack the experience to know what I was referring to. There are certain... ways to take advantage of an idiot on your team. You just need to learn those ways. The only way to do that is to take risks. No amount of watching videos/documentaries etc. is going to teach you that.

J Epstein1 votes

Yeah I know what your talking about, but not everything works out so easy. besides, thats off topic and not what i was asking for originally. We could argue all day about hypothetical situations, which all would be irrelevant to the original topic on hand.

if they are fighting an actual 1v5 they are doing it wrong, and don't deserve out of their rank/tier

Myself and 4 bronzies versus 5 bronzies, my team will win that shit 95% of the time. That's what carrying is. I'll carry my bronze ass team out of top-lane every fucxking time. that's why I'm gold.

It is easy! See?

Already established that's not the point of this discussion, sorry i responded to his response. Will simplify all further responses from now on, now that I see the average level of critical thinking skills of this forum. Sorry to have worked you all up.

your pretty ignorant.

Godhri1 votes

That's mean! He just lacks the experience and knowledge that comes with active play. It's too bad though that he thinks a video or documentary of someone climbing out of bronze will help him. While I don't know how he learns, logically and speaking from experience, videos are supplementary at best and hardly are sufficient on their own to the learning process.

People keep mistaking MOBAs for games like WoW where there are certain STATIC routes to success that you can take. There isn't. You don't retain any gear you get and your environment changes constantly. There aren't a set of quests you can do or a certain path you can take that will work. At least not one that doesn't require an extensive amount of experience in that area. For example, if someone suggests Vayne-ing throughout your league career to get out of Bronze, it certainly won't help you if you don't know how to Vayne properly which requires experience.

But oh well. All this is irrelevant to his original question.

yeah, not claiming to be the best. I'm a visual learner, hence why i'm an engineer at heart. Kind of funny i just asked for a vid or stream of somebody doing it, and all i got was childish rage posts. closest thing was LeagueSrsBsns 's post, and i thank him/her for it.

Not askign for a guide, just want to see it be done, as i'm skeptical of people's claims of how easy it is to be done. Gbay and many other post similar videos on youtube, but not quite what i was looking for.

How do you carry when your team picks 3 adc's? None of the bronze to diamond videos i've seen show a 4v5.

quote from another of his posts.

I stand by what i say about his ignorance.

J Epstein1 votes

Not constructive. I explained for a few different reasons why i just want to see videos. I guess ignorant would be correct, but not in the negative way that you think it means. Unless you got a constructive thing to add, please go away.

It's just a video game dude. Not gonna spend hours researching google's databases looking for something that may or may not exist. I will however spend a couple of minutes to use the forums to ask a simple question. sorry your so bored with your life you need to comment in my discussion. you really must be the life of the party.

Angry Monster1 votes

the trash life for you

its just a video game yet you are throwing a fit that your where you belong in bronze.

Spend 5 minutes TRYING BEFORE THROWING A FIT and saying ITS ALL LUCK ITS IMPOSSIBLE

J Epstein1 votes

You seem lonely, add me if you need some emotional support and somebody to talk to. Don't worry, it's not your fault.

Angry Monster1 votes

nah bored its 2 am and in the LCK green wings are winning but playing badly. Also I dont do bronze, got to have standards

Ragnar421 votes

I can get you bronze to gold, but that's about it.

Godhri1 votes

Idk about others but generally when someone posts in the "Tips and Tricks" section with the title "TRUE Guide", it means they are looking for... guess what? TIPS AND TRICKS. Generally not for entertainment purposes. LOGIC and CRITICAL THINKING skills tell us that this means they are looking for a way to improve something they are doing.

Furthermore, if it was the case that you were simply looking for a video for entertainment purposes, you would have shut me down immediately when responding to my post. Yet you went on and until you could see I wouldn't relent and agree with you before claiming you were searching for something else.

Finally, until you learn to communicate properly, don't try insulting other people's intelligence for misunderstanding your obviously miscommunicated post.
