Adding a second trait through spatula

J Epstein··10 votes·6,007 views

Normally when adding a redundant trait to a champ through spatula causes that item to drop off of the champ. Example: combining tear and spatula turns a champ into a demon, but will automatically drop off that champ if they are already a demon.

This doesn't continue to function if you already have a trait altering item on a champ. Example: I have the demon trait item on a champ, then add a second one. It doesn't fall off as you would expect.

QOL change: If a champ already has a trait altering item from spatula, an additional same item should automatically fall off.

Something similar happened to me.

I had a Giant belt on kassadin. then later the dragon dropped frozen mallet. So, I put it in kassadin then I somehow got another spatula.

I ended with 2 frozen mallets on kassadin, which did nothing but I won anyway

Why did you even make a second one on the same champion to begin with?

Here's a hypothetical situation.

Say you're going Gunslinger Blademaster and you have Bork and a Recurve on Jinx but you get a Spatula. So you think "Hm, i could make another blademaster with this" and slot it on Jinx only for her to now have 2 Borks.

But if you were planning on making a bunch of Bork's, why'd you put the recurve on Jinx?

Because you can also get a spatula from the carousel.

Cuz you didn't plan on it. Raptors decided you needed it.

That's exactly what happened, except I was making demons. And carousel wasn't an option because I was in first.
