Any mages that do good assassins?
I need some as they basically wreck all of mine.

if they jump on you, stun them, tibbers them and watch them burn ti death.

does well against assassins, but she is a rather high skill-cap champion. Don't give up if it's difficult at first!
Lulu can polymorph most assassins when they jump on her if she's quick, and then she can slow them and back off (or try to kill them). Her ult and e can also make surviving assassin burst much more realistic than is the case with a lot of other mages.
Lulu, Morgana, Galio, Ahri, Lissandra, Kayle, Diana, and others all have strong options for dealing with assassins.
