How to beat Riven?

Any champs that can beat Riven without giving her chances? I tried everything but all I get - ban Riven if you want to beat her.

there are a few ways. -darius (armor pen and armor) -nasus (outscale) -tryn (crit her and spin to avoid her third Q) -irelia (farm up and let her engage on you)

Darius used to counter her, but he's too nerfed to win lane unless you're significantly better than the riven. Nasus.. uhh you'll die so hard in lane. You never pick Nasus into lane bullies. Tryn can only win if you get some RNG luck. Irelia is decent.

Still though, Riven is one of those characters that if the person is actually skilled at riven and has the practice, she has no truly bad match ups.

There's a reason there have always been a ton of riven only mains in high diamond and very few 'x only' other accounts. They tend to be Riven and Tryn lol...

Vlad and Darius are my favorites.

The key is to punish her early when she tries anything.

ive had luck with mao try him when she jumps on you you can interupt her third q by pressing q plus all the ability spamming helps you sustain in lane

Sion Gragas they dont really do much against riven except for gragas because gragas and bodyslam riven when she is mid air for her 3rd q to interupt it and sion just rush frozen heart and warmogs and you will be so tanky that the time she spends killing you just isnt worth it considering that you will be hitting her while she tries to kill you and sion can poke riven when she comes up to farm just by e'ing a minion into her
