Talon or Zed

Hi, I am a mid main and I am looking for mid assassins; I was gonna main zed by I think Talon and a lot of other mid laners are stronger right now .So I thought I should main Talon or another mid laner instead.

Do you think I should main Talon, stick to Zed, or maybe by another assassin (leave in the comments a recommendation.Remember I am looking for an assassin)?

Talon is really strong right now, Zed has fallen off a bit with all the nerfs. He can still one shot people, but Talon is just way better, has more AOE, instant burst, isn't countered by QSS/Zhonya too hard, and overall just a better pick. Get talon

Have to agree here, Talon these days is a very strong mid lane assassin who has the potential to one shot and carry hard if he's fed hard core. Now Zed IS still good, but I'd choose Talon due to his AoE, Burst, and plus he does have many useful tools in his kit that he brings in matches. Also, he has a huge number of different burst methods which you can use for different situations that all still lead up to huge damage or 1 shot kill. Do know his ult IS easily countered though and he really doesn't have a GREAT escape potential as Zed does, so you do have to know when to go in for a kill or when to leave it (unless you're in a teamfight, I wait 2 secs or more until I make my move on the ADC). He's also a great split pusher due to his Q and if you get attacked while split pushing, use your ult due to it have a pretty good cooldown.

If you give Talon a shot, I really don't think you'll regret it. He snowballs like mad, has a quick burst combo and he has good laning against several mages still.

Diana - insane burst , big shield,gap closer for securing kills Ekko - big damage ,lots of utility , gap closer and loads of outplay potential Katarina - simple ,effective Ahri - good burst ,high mobility ,able to deal damage without taking alot Fizz - high mobility ,high damage , untargetable with relatively low cooldown just some mids i think are good (:
