Should I main mid or one-trick Riven?

Alright. Right now I pretty much have two choices of what to play for the S7 ranked season: I could one-trick riven, or main mid in general. I can't really one-trick anyone in the mid lane that I like due to the champions high ban rate.

For Riven, I like the champion in general as long as I get kinda fed. I notice that I feed sometimes on her, but I carry a lot as well. I have 50K points on her (level 7 as well).

For the mid lane, I LOVE yasuo and zed and carry about 80% of the games I play on them (especially for zed). I have 100K points on yasuo (lvl 7 as well), and as for zed I have I think 40K points (no level 6 or 7 as I mained him before those even came out). I can also play Ahri and Annie decently well. I want to expand my champion pool to cass and ryze though.

Idk. I want to main mid. The champions I love have a very high ban rate in ranked (zed and yasuo).

Ignoring your taste in champions, I'd say main mid.

Ha just wait till you start playing vs Plat+ ranked players who will punish any mistake you make in the laning phase.

Ignoring that though riven is a good champ to 1 trick if you can get your mechanics on her down consistently.

Mid lane is also one of the best roles to main if you enjoy playing assassins/roamers cause you can impact top/jungle/bot easily in solo queue.

Tip: don't bother hovering your champs that might increase the chances of your teammates banning that champ higher (especially yasuo)

don't become a cockroach riven main, you'll reduce your brain size to 0
