I need YOUR help finding a one-trick

You honestly have no clue how hard I've tried to just find ONE champion that I can pretty much one-trick in ranked. Honestly, I have NEVER, I repeat NEVER found a champion that I can main in my two years of playing LoL.

I want your help, yes you reading this right now xD

Here are some champions I've tried, and I'm going to state why I didn't one-trick them:

Yasuo: This is the one I've most recently tried. Ban rate is too high. You also have to note that his ban rate is high with three bans. They are adding 5 bans.

Zed: Same as above

Riven: Idk. I know shes been a solid one-trick, but I can never really seem to dish out the damage boxbox can. Whenever I trade I just lose and I have over 50K points on her. She has so many weak match ups.

Thresh: I know people say Thresh can carry but I think he can't, the only person you can actually kinda I guess give kills to is your Adc and maybe mid occasionally. And your ADC can be bad. Even if hes good assassins just ONE SHOT the adc in S7. Please give me thoughts on Thresh is S7.

As for Lee Sin and Shaco I haven't played them for a while, please give me thoughts on them.

Gangplank I've never tried. Please give thoughts on him as well.

I REALLY need help finding a one-trick. If you need clarification or need me to be more specific, comment down below. If you know any other good one-tricks please comment them. I really appreciate you reading this.

Thank you, Death Mark

I personally recommend Riven. If you seem to be doing less damage than you expect, you are probably canceling autos and messing up your animations, good thing the practice tool exists! I have over 300k on riven and still messed up combos, now that I have the practice tool it makes life a lot easier.

As a Gangplank main last season, it has been AWFUL this season in solo queue. 60% win rate last season, I think. So far this season I am 1 - 4 with him. Teams are grouping sooner and do a better job of warding around objectives so his scaling/barrls from a bush tactics are harder to use. I can still do it, and his ult can be handy. But you need a strong early game which is something you don't want to rely on in SoloQueue

Thresh CAN "carry" in the sense that flash flay + hooks in lane can put bot lane ahead early and then in objectives he can hook priority targets from a decent range and then his ult can control a large area or makes for a decent get away tool if you need to bail. Plus Lantern can be useful at keep some people alive. But he's only as good as his carries at the end of the day.

One-Tricks are usually pretty good well rounded characters or super snowball ones. I can't speak for Riven in play style simply because I just never put much time in on her, but she can definitely take an early lead and faceroll her lane and usually gank mid easily and push her lead through the rest of the map before late game hits and she starts to fall off or gets peeled off in team fights.

I suppose some recommendations could be like....

Top: Nasus Fiora Irelia Jax Pantheon Swain Tryndamere Jng: LeeSin JarvanIV Shaco Elise Mid: Ekko Orianna Ziggs ADC: Vayne Jinx Tristana Sup: Brand Thresh Leona

I'm just throwing these out as reliable or independent characters who can have a lot of impact in the right hands. Lots of factors still go into it, plus these characters have shown over time to never really be out of the meta, just not always S tier. Plus these are just ones I have experience with and think have potential of being good one-tricks, I can't really do that. I get bored of characters, even when Im winning a lot with them.

The champion you main should be one that fits your play style and that you like. There's no such thing as a "good" one trick. Different champions mesh well with different people.

So I one trick fizz. which is an amazing pony btw but...

Riven, although I dont main her is an AMAZING champ to one trick. the problem you are having is youre not really dedicating yourself to getting good with her. youre losing games or performing bad and youre just like meh.. but Riven, like fizz, and lee sin, has a HUGE skill cap, and it can take over 100 games before you start to really 'get' her and to master her .. pshhh a LOT more games than that! I have over 700 games on fizz and I still wouldnt say Ive 100% mastered him, probably 90% tho. The amount of combos you can do with Riven is insane, which is why if youre a good riven you can 1v1 anyone. so dont be discouraged if youre sucking on riven. and if youre losing trades, you are trading wrong, because shes one of the best champs at trading in lane

Aside from riven though choosing who to main really comes down to who you have fun playing most. in my case, ever since i was like b3 in season 3 or something, i got hooked to fizz cause he was just fun (especially in that elo) cause he can one shot you and just hop away. Losing games sucked but the snowball you get on fizz is so hue it hooked me.

So I would reccommend fizz, riven, GP, lee, and mosly the high skill cap champs

taking thetime to learn the hard champs is OP in the long run

Jungler - Lee Sin (Utterly stupid Utility engage/disengage, solo dragon, high sustain, respectable AOE slow and Ult knockup disruption).

Top - Tryndamere - Until lethality items remove all of their add-on effects like free movement speed and spell shield, he's a force to be reckoned with solo pushing side lanes into oblivion. You can't leave him alone, and you can't beat him 1 on 1 mid-late if he knows what he's up to. (I'd put Olaf, Riven, Shen pretty close in consideration for various reasons).

AD Mid - Talon? His damage is very difficult to understand if you don't play as him and people die fast due to how un-transparent his damage translates in skirmishes.

AP Mid - Ahri. Ridiculously strong in every single patch and season due to her safe distance play and reliable ranged cc. She like Lee Sin can engage or escape at will so makes for highly versatile and adaptable playstyles to any situation. High win rate and rarely banned. Good Ahri's also rarely feed and usually end up with high KDA ratio's due to how difficult it is to pin her down if played well.

ADC - Hardest to really pick as your Support combo has a lot to do with it. Caitlyn for Solo Q safety and ranged burst. Thresh hooks into traps or Janna shields really empower her ability to bully lanes.

Support - I wouldn't suggest this role for One-Trick.

My pick of all of the above picks would be Ahri. She is a very steady contributor I am always very happy to have as a teammate. I don't play many AP mid's so can't give tips.

Lee has a pretty high ban rate from what ik...maybe grab something that's kinda OP just never looked at...you need something that is useful, and not that almost always banned champ like Jhin in low elo or something...

Honestly, I think you should go for a mage (I personally am an Anivia follower). Most offer lots of utility, and generally aren't hated (and thus banned) as much as AD peeps. Also, You can't ever really get totally screwed playing a mage. Some good 1 tricks might be Anivia (pls no. she's mine)Azir Ahri Karma Malzahar TwistedFate Velkoz Veigar. Also, while Fizz is technically a mage, you will burn in the pits of hell if you main him.

Velkoz you wont regret it
