Need help with last hitting

The title says it all. I have been playing for 2 years but there is one part of my game that I know will most likely keep me in bronze forever and that is last hitting. When I play range I like most people wait then when I try to last hit by the time my basic hit the thing either is dead already thank to minions or It live's by 1 hp. Not kidding it has 1 hp. This often forces me to play champ's with some kinda of last hitting tool but even then it stucks.

I'm hoping some of you can make a suggestion on what I can try because sometimes I sware im cursed because in my last game I was a AD carrie who had less kills then a support

go into custom game. no bots or anything. go to mid lane and cs for 10 minutes. do this again and again until you can judge the timing better.

Do what was previously mentioned, but also turn off all runes and masteries so you have to survive off of base aa damage alone. Then just try and get as any perfect waves at a time as you can. This is not the scenario you will be in in an actual game, but the increase difficulty will force you to learn to last hit.

Perhaps you should try and main a champion for a while? Last hitting is a lot easier after you've become familiar with a champion's farming tools, AA damage, etc. Also, custom games with no bots to start out with are very helpful when it comes to practicing your last hitting! I'm not very good at last hitting myself (got pushed out of playing mid lane, mostly play support), but some advice is better than nothing right? XP

well the real problem I do mean only a few but often the are Range ADC, ezreal is my fave but again half the tame he gets don't with a animation the thing is alreay dead or failed to get kill dying a second later. Any ideas on the custom side i could try. the whole problem si most the time the minions will switch from each attack there own minion then all of the gang up on 1. So when i fire my attack when they are 1/4 hp left i dined either they live or the minions kill my target first.

well are there any clue I should watch for to KNOW when to attack. When I play as someone like vlad, Annie, and a few ADC I do Semi decent but after that I start failing hard.
