Sometimes in game i will get an adc that just like never plays adc and does very dumb stuff. So if i know this ahead of time what support champ would be best to support someone who doesnt know what hes doing as adc

How about Maokai? AOE damage reduction at level 6, 2 slows, a root and the ability to give yourself temporary vision for 35 seconds.

Probably something that isn't a front-line hard engage like Alistar and Leona. If you go up front and try to do your job but your ADC doesn't follow up, you'll end up dying for nothing.

Other than that, if your ADC is terrible don't bother spending all game feeding him. Roam and help counter-jungle and gank mid.

I'd go with Valkyrie witch's advice if I were you maybe going with a utility mage will help make up for the the adc feeding or undperforming. A utility mage will help you deal damage and compensate for the adc's lack of damage if you decide to roam. I would personally go with champs like Lux Anivia SonaMorgana Karma and maybeeLulu

If you can get him, TahmKench is pretty brain dead. "oh you are getting caught? eats"

Janna is another good option as well.

In general, avoid going for plays and just make sure the adc makes it through the laning phase. Ask for a gank or two to help relieve pressure.

Your best bet is someone with defensive options to cover for them when they get in over their head.

Janna Nami Thresh Braum

for instance

or more carry-like supports like Annie or Morgana
