How do I play Riven?
I'm currently trying to re-learn Riven but am struggling against CC, Tank champions with CC, Gnar, CC heavy junglers. Advice is highly appreciated :)

this is probably not a good place to ask for advice on Riven.
anyway, CC is her bane. everyone knows you're a huge damage threat, so you WILL be focused, especially since you have to all-in/dive in team fights. If they have heavy CC, buy
, and possibly
.
For team fights, I would play her similarly to someone like Master Yi or Katarina. Skirt around the edge of the fight, and once the enemy team is somewhat low, then you should engage...obviously trying to blow up their squishy carries. Another important point is to be aware of which enemy champions are your biggest threats CC-wise. Wait until much of their CC is used and on cooldown, especially the deadliest CC (e.g. morg Q, blitz E+R, alistar Q+W, etc.), before engaging. Riven is better at smaller fights than straight up 5v5 teamfight. SO be patient, let your team get them lowish, and then as the fight drags on and your enemies' spells are on cool down, take advantage, go in and be Riven and 1 shot their adc/apc.
Riven can also punish enemy mispositioning, especially with allies nearby. If an enemy is slightly out of position away from their team, don't hesitate to CC him/her and blow them up with your allies.
All that said, I would avoid team fights if you can do so. You'll have more success 1v1 2v2 even 1v2. She's great at split pushing. She excels at 1v1 and smaller unorganized fights. And, if they send 2+ members to try to take you down, well, her mobility is outrageous and you can usually get away (meanwhile your team should be grouped taking some other objective). remember, if you are splitting
. use these and with your mobility, you won't die.
Check out Boxbox's videos on youtube/twitch (twitch.tv/flosd). He's basically a riven god and teaches a lot of things in his games, from mechanics to matchups.
