Can we at the very least have bans in URF? Or maybe earlier surrenders?
We know whose going to win before the game even gets going

10 ban system, normal urf.
Homeguard at 15 minutes.
Early FF moved to 10, basic FF at 15.
Why they haven't implemented URF with 10 bans is beyond me.
Instead we're left with this bastardisation of URF that's supposed to fix the issue but I'm seeing Rumbles and Karthus way more than anyone should in URF.

The reason AR Urf is cancer is two pronged.
you can reroll to get a champ you want
you are more likely to get champions that were picked more often in earlier urfs.
Which means the fizzes and the hecarims are much more likely to happen and there's simply nothing you can do about it.
This! Wtf. Why do the champs feel so weighted? I've played a few games, around 20 or more probably. I've seen atleast 5 Zeds, 1 being on our team. 4 Quinns, 3 of them being me. 4 Rumbles, 3 I switched out. Fizz atleast 4 times, all 4 being me. The rest were just 1 timer champs. Yeah I got to play the OP stuff sometimes, but it's gonna get old quick.
Can I have a source for your 2nd point?
It would incredibly dumb for Riot to not make ARURF actually random, so without a quote from Riot stating as much I'm quite skeptical.
Its less about it being mechanically true, but statistically accurate.. also you have to factor in most of the cancer champions players with limited champion pools will likely own (you know everybody new and veteran owns nasus and garen) + AR accounts which would be very cheap since none of these are really expensive. So in other words, yes its all random but the 1 out of 130+ champs is more like 1 out of whatever is on the account + the % of players that own that specific champion (in which case, is everybody for a lot of these.)
There is at least always ALWAYS one of these in my urf games:

and none of them are really expensive and all are pretty user friendly, likely everybody owns some if not all of them.
I've gotten
twice,
twice,
three times,
twice in a row,
twice and one of my friends got
two games in a row, nasus, and then kennen a third time.
The second point is true. That was how AR urf was originally designed. I can't be bothered to go dig up years old info though.
the reroll for URF is obliviously RIGGEd riot YOU AINT SLICK!!! THE MAIN CHAMPIONS you always see are Eve, Fizz, Shaco, Fiora, Riven, Kass, Warwick, Jax and Alistar ESPICIALLY JAYCE Ezreal, Karma and Nidalee. I'm legit hoping Riot see's this Thread and can actually NOT fuckk up next time .
Because it isn't URF. You don't get to choose the champ you play so why would/should bans be allowed? That would take the slight hope of getting an op champ and crushing it into the ground. Allow 10 bans, you will see even fewer ARURF players. Shut, so many games get dodged because someone doesn't get said strong champ. Imagine the dodges if you got 10 bans? lol..
I played against Fizz twice in a row. Then had all melee against all ranged game afterwards. :D The moment when the Randomness makes you think Normal URF at least allowed you to pick something against them and was better.
But I still think ARURF fixes many problems and don't mind it, but I agree it certainly requires Early SURR and bans so that you don't waste combined 1 hour of your life due to bad luck. Had like five games of bad luck, then one game where we stomped and it didn't even feel so satisfying. Felt sorry for my enemies, knew the feel.

And a retarded ammount of Wukongs. That ape can stay perma-stealthed in a game where counter-stealth is trash. The number of Duskblade proc he can do is honestly obscene.
I got Wukong 4 times last URF, and I only played 15 games. Yeah random my fanny.
Fucking Maokai. Enough said.
I was thinking this too...
was very toxic to fight :/
Also can
charge his Q quicker? i feel like he got the short end of the stick this mode.
fizz ends up just toxic...very few champions can hurt him or endure his damage
probably the only ones that can are Swain, morgana(all of fizz's damage is magic unless he builds AD), someone who can kill him before he reacts(are there any left?), taliyah might be able to stop him but idk, vlad,
so there are a few, but he's really that bad XD
Sion can release it quicker but nope, he can never charge it faster
he's a good counter to minion champs though
Being unable to stop fizz W with poppy W is even more aggravating than it is in normal games.
Cassi can do it by applying grounded, but it's still in Fizz's favor.

wukong can deal with him easily. Wukong is actually worse to play against though lol
Sion just needs to go AP and max E>W>Q, or go full lethality and try to oneshot people from inside unwarded bushes.
It'd be nice to have teams that didn't continue to yolo dive on blitz/irelia/morgana/panth/jax/anyone when they already died twice. That would fix the utter retardation that happens when your bot lane or top lane feeds.
(FEEDING is dying more than twice to the same opponent because you think you "can get them this time" when often you make the exact same stupidass mistake you made when you died the last two times, except now youre at a major item disadvantage).
goes 1/1 as veigar in mid, sees our score is 1 to 14
UUUURGGGGG /OlafUlt, axe thrown, slow
you have been slain
A lot of this. Most URF games end up terribly because you just get out snowballed. I feel the gold from kills and assists in the first 7-9 minutes should be reduced significantly with minion or ambient gold picking up the slack if games go too long. Alternatively, adding some specail URF summoner spells to help people deal with strong URF mechanics could be nice.
Please this game mode needs a ******* ban system keep ARURF idc! just let me ban this annoying champs please
They made it AR cause people thought it was annoying to face the same op URF champions but instead they just made it based on luck. Now you just gotta hope there aren't any extremely oppressive champions. Not sure why they didn't just add bans.
The Second time they release Urf was REALLY smart and the better decision enemy have up to 3 bans and then people can choose...that's Significantly better than having to reroll and end up with shitty champions.. or the enemy team "magically" has the better comp than you. I'm pretty sure everyone knows that the reroll is SUPER RIGGED. AS yourself How many games have you seen
if this doesn't tell you HOW rigged the system is then IDK what does....
The fact that bans weren't implemented makes this whole event feel really lazy; pretty much feels to me that Riot was doing this purely to make every vocal URF-loving player shut up. It felt lazily conducted, fun games are only when you aren't playing against the oppressive champions, and the lack of bans basically means you're going to see Garen/Annie in nearly every game (they've collectively been in 7/10 games today) due to how nearly everyone has them.
I played a game today as Rek'Sai against a team consisting of Karthus/Caitlyn/Shaco/Garen/Ashe. Our team had nothing comparable, our bottom laners were slaughtered by Ashe+Garen, Karthus outscaled everyone anyways, and Shaco was damned nightmare once he got AP.
Then there was a game where I was Kayn, who is actually a lot of fun in URF, but I was against Jayce/Aatrox with Warwick. Neither of us had any poke that could compete with Jayce, Aatrox could poke and initiate as Jayce blasted us endlessly, and the rest of our team on the map was completely outpicked as well. I felt so bad for Warwick too - there was literally nothing he could do aside from basically feed. Sure it's RNG, but you can damn well bet that with bans implemented we probably wouldn't have seen Jayce/Garen/Annie nearly as often.
What I personally hate about this URF is that you see the same champions, over and over again. There is a bias in randomisation, no doubt. Far too many Fizz, far too many Malzahar, far too many Karthus etc.
And Malzahar should just be disabled. I don't like disabling champions because they're too strong, but his pushing is gamebreaking. Losing all your lanes in 10 minutes to one champion alone isn't fun, it kills the game mode.
You do realize, that the people like you, who give up before the clock hits 10 minutes and then blame either picks or their team, are what's wrong with URF?
Teammates giving up early sucks, but it's not like they don't have a point. Comebacks are much harder in URF, since leads are so much easier to snowball. URF isn't very balanced after champion select.

Whaaaaaaat? I don't know if you've been playing Urf, but over half my games have been completely decided at like the 8 minute mark.
Hm, I wonder why. Couldn't be because people like you give up after 5 minutes.
Hm, I wonder why. Couldn't be because people like you give up after 5 minutes.
I'm sorry but we're talking about URF here... when the kills are 27-3 at the 7 minute mark, i'd rather not waste my time...
If everyone on the team is bad, I guess that's true.
You do realize, that the people like you, who give up before the clock hits 10 minutes and then blame either picks or their team, are what's wrong with URF?
That's just not true. Some champs (cough
cough) are practically impossible to lane against because their cooldowns are so low and their starting damage is high enough that they can ability spam zone you into backing three times and getting a 5 minute turret. The variance in ability between some champs is insane
(How the hecking heck does Nid do that? She has no waveclear and her spears are easy as heck to dodge. If you're going to give an example like that, pick someone like TF, his Qs are easy but frustrating to dodge.)
And sorry but with all the sustain options available and with things like an early Hextrinker, you can farm under tower and/or try to engage.
say that when your team is like this
AGAINST a team Like this

Improbable scenario but every game is winnable, the "weaker" team has better engage.
I'm saying though if you go look at my match history there's always a team that is always weaker and loses it could be me or could be the enemy is all im saying which is why i really hate this ALL random roll because it's obviously rigged. and don't give me that bullshit and say "we can reroll with dices though" because that's rigged asf too. and no i'm not mad at you i'm just hating the flaws of this URFAR.
There was a game where we hard pushed a lane I can't remember the comp but I know we had a ziggs and blitz but we were at nexus towers at the 7 min mark
Xin, Fiora, Yi, Maokai, Nasus, Evelynn, Fizz, Ezreal, Malz, Wukong
Plz make them go away
I don't really care about bans, I'm pissed off that I keep getting the same champions. Like really. Tryndamere like 10 times in a row.
people here do not know what op champions means:|..check jayce:))),,now, that champion is a free win
I think bans would ruin the spirit of "All Random", although early surrender would be nice. FF at 15.
10 bans, time for Homeguard and FF's reduced by 80% as well
Can I ban champs from my list? I own every champ and honestly I've wasted too many rerolls on kleds yoricks and vel koz. not saying there not good urf champs but I am saying I don't have fun when I have to play them.
Maokai, nasus, fizz, Jayce, etc...
Have beaten them all, even after feeding them.
I don't get why people comment so much that champion x is op - the player may just be better than you. The problem urf had (and that arurf didn't alleviate) is that people thought champions snowballed so hard and crushed games BECAUSE the champion was op. Newsflash, it wasn't. There are at least 50-60 "op" picks in urf that can compete with each other. They get fed and hard carry a game not because they're op, but because the player knows what they're doing on them.
By far I've seen maokai complained of as the most op, and yet i absolutely massacred him all game long as first Volibear and then Vi. I've also fed like mad on Lux because i don't play immobile mages and just sucked on her. Player skill is just hugely amplified in this game mode.
I mean hell, I've seen many complaints that rammus is garbage in this mode and yet including past urf iterations I'm something like 5-0 on him with A+ to S grades each time.
Accepting that someone else is better at the game than you; especially when they are using champs they are especially adept at? What? Have you opened the League of Legends client to actually play a game? If I die or miss a single CS it is clearly because the BS-tier balance team made my opponents champion too OP OP in an attempt to deny me my contract with the latest greatest LCS squad in Korea. /sarc
seriously though, very good point.
I'll like to ADD INSTEAD of ALL dumb random WHICH we all know is super rigged HOW about we have the option to CHOOSE again and have the 10 ban Riot is really dumb. Legit mostly all games that i played either we were favored or the enemy was THERE's NEVER ever "equal" fight it's always either YOU STOMP SUPER HARD or you GET STOMP super hard. I'm pretty sure everyone would at least agree with me on the banning part but the option to choose again would make this LESS boring.
I don't think I've played a game that wasn't one team stomping the other. Even though with urf there were a lot of the same op champions I could choose someone that I found fun.
Riot clearly does not like Urf They never do it and when they do they mess it up and do AR Urf Why can't we just have bans?!
