**I made a post like this just recently but again for the love of god! STOP SURRENDERING unless the enemy team is winning so much that they could afk and let their minions win the game for them. **

Lets do some math. 25 minutes into game. For some reason your team wants to surrender and they do. Now lets say your LP is at 50. Minus that by 20 which brings you down to 30.

So lets take this into account.** 25 minutes** and 20 LP was surrendered.

So lets Queue again for hopefully a non feeding team. Oh look after 40 minutes you guys won** 18 LP**(Because we all know we lose more LP then we gain... I don't know the exact math but this is just about what its like)!

so thats 65 minutes and now we are at 48 LP. Oh wait! We aren't back at 50 LP! So we gotta play another game.

Take a second chance and hope this team doesn't rage/feed/afk. And lets just say you win this one too! And bonus the enemy team surrendered at** 20.** So you gained another 18 LP.

Lets look at how much time you spent. You have played for** 85 minutes** of game time and now at 66LP. But what if you didn't surrender in that first game?

Because we all know that theres always that chance that the enemy team threw, or your afk came back, you guys stole baron, or someone on their team went afk. Who knows? But lets just say you didn't surrender. There is still a chance to win! And what would your time spent and LP look like?

45 minutes and 68 LP. woooooooow UNBELEAVABLE!

_TL;DR: You waste more time surrendering and winning back your LP then not surrendering and seeing how the game plays out. _

You just know when to surrender sometimes and when a game is still winnable. Some games you just know theres no coming back. PSA: Surrendering isnt that bad, just add some logic and basic predictions on how your team plays.

Stupid people and logic are not interchangeable no matter how well you explain it to them. This makes total sense to me but there are just too many stupid people in this world and will never get it.

lol or you don't surrender and take even longer to get back to the same point of LP.

It is already officially stated that surrendering would NOT increase your LP loss.

If you are experiencing situations where you are gaining less than you are losing, it's because of your elo.
