Vel'koz completely dominates Thresh

Straight up eat the hooks, and then combo the enemy ADC. Once Thresh has blown his whole combo he is straight up useless.

I could see this working, but probably a bad idea to 'eat the hook' - Thresh likes to be played into aggressive or kill lane ADC's (Draven, Miss fortune, Lucian...) so they will burst you down unless you're quite tanky

I think a better way to word it would be 'Dodge his hook so he can't do anything but get too close to flay, and proceed to bombard the enemy adc'

+1 nonetheless, I don't really play this matchup but I do play a ton of thresh and I admit there were some pretty rough games vs my creator TenTacular

thresh may be useless once he "blows his whole combo" but that usually results to one.. or two.. or everybody dead or half dead and fleeing away

Vel'Koz is squishy, so if Thresh combos you're probably going to get blown up.

Yeah but what happens when Thresh hooks Velkoz and then throws a lantern and the jungler comes flying in from halfway across the map?
