comment on my lucian build

So trying to be divergent from the standards. http://www.lolking.net/guides/337690 Decided to go with a passive early game phase, so that i can sort of make do without going with last whisper.

I was inspired by imaqtpie's build:http://www.probuilds.net/guide/NA/1768558533/19887289 i figured the attack speed i get from trinity makes up for this as quints/masteries. I just need to build as earlier to make up for it. also the extra hp i have on triforce and armor quints allows me to use my seal runes for offensive means. Mana is nice though on lucian since you can clear waves so much faster allowing you to rotate / apply pressure / stick around for objectives etc. With the regen you should always have enough mana to dash away. Don't get me wrong i realize last whisper is a super handy item. I'll have to try it with it. even so with the extra armor pen i'll be even more able to shred tanks.

although I see where you're going w this, I dislike the build. I wouldn't recommend going Triforce on Luc unless you're really far ahead. Heck even when you're way ahead, I'd go for IE > Shiv > BT/LW/QSS. I honestly don't like armor pen on ad carries. I prefer to have attack speed. If you op.gg me. You'll see the 3rd page is for Lucian. I go w 14% aspd 8.5AD 9Armor 5.7 Mr and 1.7 Mana regen. That 14% aspd can give you an extra crit instead of the armor pen. I pretty much build my ad carries the same way except for Ezreal and Corki. Sometimes if things are rough, I might go ghost blade instead of rushing shiv 2nd.

Well for an Annie build it leaves a LOT to be desired...

Mana regen isn't a good rune stat, especially on ADs. You are really gonna be wanting that armor when you face their ADC. It would have beena lot better being a Primary Glyph instead of a seal. Also random CDR glyphs? If your going for the last 5% at level 18 you want one more.

Lastly we are turning to the League of Tanks. Last Whisper isn't optional anymore. BotRK is also probably gonna make a return.
