If someone obviously ignores or asks you to stop criticizing their gameplay or build, then continuing to do so is verbal harassment
There is no such thing as a "right way" to play or build a champion, so if someone isn't building or playing a champion in a way which you are use to just shut up about it.

Sarutobi2 votesi agree with number 1, but to a point number 2 is somewhat wrong. i think what you are trying to say is that while there is no right way to build champions, there are some champs who does not work well with certain items. Like if you are buying something that is only melee why would you buy it on a ranged champion? But i will agree that some people just take building way too seriously! like they will be on you and if it works they still bark on you. its sad but some people just feel the need to act like that!

disregardable1 votesI'm going to disagree with you here. I had to get harassed over a very long time to finally stop building Runaans on ADCs, and I am so much better off.
I think what really needs to be noted is don't expect the person to change in that game.
deadlychuck1 votesEven then, i see nothing wrong with wanting to focus on attack speed instead of Crit strike and AD on an ADC. I mean obviously it's not as effective, because for some unexplained and irrational reason riot still has yet to remove the plague which is critical strike from the game, but if that person wants to play the game in a way which they almost always reach max attack speed, then sure. I think there is something to be said about them buying excess attack speed once capped, but they shouldn't be flamed and harassed about "playing the champion wrong".
Mahautsukai1 votesI think there is a wider range of options then the Forum Bred's rage at me, especially depending on how I build my Masteries and Runes to interact. But I agree with you fully there are definitely wrong things to build or wrong overall builds.

If you are 0/5/0, I think you should be listening to the person telling you to stop turret diving. Continuing to do so is intentionally feeding and should deserve a permaban.

and the bug fix on his Q, i'd argue that assassin was a completely legitimate method of play.
Also didn't address this in the main post, but in one of the other comments. I do think the case is slightly different when there is actually 0 benefit from purchasing an item. Like a purely mana item on an energy or resources champion, or as in the actual reply "buying excess attack speed once capped". Though if you are spending gold in a way which increases the power of your champion then while it might not be the most optimal, it doesn't mean that it's wrong.
