I wish there was a notification in the client for my ping before I enter champ select - sometimes waiting half hour makes a huge difference. My internet still works, and when I test my ping on external sites it is always WAY better than on LOL.
I think it would be easy to implement.
Not talking about the people that have it one game. I'm talking about the "Damn Rito, Ive been laggy all day but im going to keep playing ranked to dick over teammates because im stupid"
Riot is the problem in 50% of cases. What are they going to do? Ban themselves?
what if someone has great connection one game and then crappy the next? theres only so much control one has over the IP address/servers/weather/internet provider etc. dont rage so much
Honestly you can really stop them from playing ranked because they will want to play just as much as the next person. Although it does really suck when people DC/AFK because of a bad connection. I have lost quite a lot of games due to this because people have dc'd and there is just simply no way you can win a 4v5 unless you got fed like 30-0 which is highly unlikely. A lot of the times its the game itself that is causing issues. Ever since this new patch i have had the "attempting to reconnect" message show up in a game for like 10 seconds ever since the new patch. My internet is find and perfectly applicable for gaming as are other people's connections, but it's just the sever that causes these problems. When its known on a large scale about server issues you do get loss prevented. Although it really does suck that just because one person on the team was having issues while everyone else is fine it is counted as a loss which is beyond me.
Rito needs to get their shit together and ban this already. So stupid.

I always play a couple normals 1st to see how my connection is for the day but every couple weeks i get a day where it changes one game to the next no thing i can do about that but apologize to my teammates.
This shouldn't be an issue when you can do a simple ping test to Rito's servers to make sure you aren't losing packets like crazy.
Lol riot definitely has bugs that causes DC and inability to connect
