I can't ADC for my life

Which is ironic considering it's my favorite role, and have stopped playing it on multiple occasions because of this reason. Can somebody help me. I always seem to get killed by Azir and other ranged poke champions and can't get kills. (i.e. I went 3/8/11 as Sivir last game got my last kills off of practically luck) I also can't seem to WIN laning phase. I definitely don't lose it, but I can't win it.

Seriously can somebody help me with this role?

For starters, keep track of enemy cooldowns. For example, if an enemy Lucian has just used his Q to farm minions, you know that his primary damage spell is down for like the next 6 seconds and that is your window to engage. However, mind the minions; especially during early levels the casters will do a lot to you and might make you lose trades, so make sure to kill the minions first.

Furthermore, take note of your own minions' health. This way, when you see a minion on low health, chances are the enemy AD will try to last hit it. During this time, harass them with an auto or two because they can't fight back while csing.

As for Azir, positioning is key. Stay back during teamfights, and always watch where his soldiers are at. I'd say if the enemy team picks an Azir, you should pick an AD with a dash of sorts; Lucian and Graves are great starters (I'd say Graves more as Lucian has fallen off a bit).

Sivir is a teamfight AD. Her damage isn't very high in small skirmishes. She thrives in teamfights as her W does a lot of damage. I wouldn't worry much about the amount of kills you rack up in a game, as long as you are dishing out damage and get kills for the team. Since Sivir has a low range of 500, always watch where you are standing relative to your team and the enemy team. All you've got is your Spell Shield and summoner 4 / summoner 7 to save yourself from that one positional error.

Finally, keep practicing! I was Bronze II in Season 4, but I kept practicing and playing games as AD. It took me a while to learn how to CS properly, how to kill the cannon minion without using an ability, and most importantly, position well in fights, while dishing out tons of damage. And here I am now, sitting in Gold 4, after a years' hard work.

Last note: BUY WARDS. VISION IS KEY.

Best of luck on the Fields of Justice!

To win ADC, much like other lanes, is to beat your enemy in terms of gold.

Engage the enemy team when:

Your jungler is ready to gank You have a good level advantage You have a good item advantage They are decently low on health You are confident in winning the fight and the enemy jungler is away

Just try to win CS score against the other ADC, don't be discouraged if you get killed or if your support gets the kill, and communicate with your support.

  1. Don't use Sivir in soloque. She's an engage adc, more of a support adc honestly.

Do you ever duo with your support? Like Skype with them or anything or are they just random?

Whether you do or don't duo with your support, you need to make sure they're warding. It will make ganks and roams a lot easier to avoid and it makes the enemy jungler/mid waste time, lose xp and gold.

If you don't Skype them and don't know exactly what you want, pay attention to how your support moves and their mana. Pay attention to how aggressive they are or how passive. If you're against a Vayne and she's low and your support is still just poking their support or gathering xp, ping the Vayne or type quickly and just say something like "vayne is easy/ lets kill vayne" but go in a bush when u type so they don't see you typing, then they can't read you as easily.

I checked your op.gg and realized you barely play adc... if its your favourite role and you want to learn it, you need to focus on it. If you're only playing jungle you're not gonna become a better adc.

Ill note that your farm on adc is surprisingly decent.

Harass the enemy adc when they go for farm. Make them weak and killable. They will lose farm and xp because they'll need to play more passive and you will get ahead.

I loved Lucian and basically only played him a month or two ago, but lately all the other ADCs have just beat me up. Jinx and Vayne are some of the strongest ADCs but Sivir is also very good. Since I loved Lucian's playstyle but he didn't scale well enough into the late game, I picked up Tristana to counter Jinx and Vayne because both Sivir and Lucian do badly against Jinx and Vayne lategame. Tristana obviously has a range advantage later on in the game and in the really early levels, you just have to farm it out. She has a dash (one of the things I loved the most about Lucian) and basically she rarely dies. She has her ult/w to disengage, which makes it decently easy to fix positioning mistakes.

A lot of people feel they can't adc at first.Ik i did,but it just takes figuring out just how dependent on the rest of your team you really are.More often than not the adc can't make a move without some assistance.Apply this and you'll be golden in no time.

Hmm, key bindings helped me to ADC better. Allowed for an easier time kiting and proper focusing during team fights. For instance before I began key binding I would accidentally switch targets b/c enemy team would cluster too much, now it doesn't happen. Maybe you should look into that if you haven't already. Overall understanding of the ADC you're playing is also important, which also ties in with team composition and usually results how aggressive or passive you'll be during your laning phase.

good luck!
