How do you suggest to your team to build against a certain play?

I recently played a game where my team and I lost badly. I blame myself for parts of it because I was playing Xin and didn't gank until around level 5. However, around 5 minutes into the game, I noticed that my teammates were struggling against the enemy team. The enemy team was a 4 man AP team with one AD Jungle. I suggested at 5 minutes in, "hey guys, we should build mr against them". No one even replied to me. In the entire game, I suggested to build MR many times, but each time, everyone ignored me.

I am pretty sure that in the span of 40 minutes, I suggested to build MR against the enemy team around 15 times. It wasn't until around 35 minutes in that another person on the team decided to build the basic MR item, but at that point, we had 2 inhibitors down and the nexus turrets were down. We held off as much as we could, but we lost 5 minutes later.

How do I deal with a team that refuses to acknowledge another teammate's comments? I just said a variation of the sentence "we need to build mr" over and over. I wasn't being a jerk either, but no one seemed to listen. They raged after the game that the enemy team was OP (Which wasn't the case, the enemy team didn't even build armor, so I countered them easily in 1v1 battles or 1v2 battles, at 1v3 and more, I lost, and I blame myself for getting caught out of place for those and not warding enough). I noticed that the entire enemy team built purely AP, while my team built armor and AD/AP.
