Do you like Dynamic Queue?

Mister Punches·5/20/2016, 9:11:18 PM·69 votes·2,914 views

A lot of people claim that they don't like it. Then there are a lot of people who say they like it. I want to see what the actual results are for this forum, so I made a simple Yes/No poll.

Title is the question.

**NOBODY LIKES DYNAMIC QUEUE WHO IS TRULY COMPETETIVE! **

Rito knows it, High elo players know it. DQ is purely for profit and younger generation.

Meh, posts like this don't accomplish much considering those who are upset won't play the game and those who are enjoying the game are. Just saying

You won't get an accurate measurement from polling the forums. Most players don't frequent the forums and the ones who do are usually the whiny ones who simply go with what ever the herd says.

This poll isn't something I can answer, because it doesn't offer enough options. I like Dynamic Queue for normals, but don't think it's fitting for ranked games.

Where's the "I don't really care" option?

Because I honestly don't. Solo players, or premades, they're all shitty teammates I have to babysit in the end. Though on all fairness, whatever kinds of premades I'm facing should be the kinds of premades I have on my team. Enemy is a group of 4? I better have a group of 4, easy as that.

What I kinda like, though, is people are less likely to make fun of duos for the sake of being duos, simply because they, too, can premade and do the same thing. Club tags? Oh, hello there, premade people. Matching names? Oh hello there, cancerous duos. Otherwise I'm overall indifferent.

Sure, sure, RIP individual skill (as well as the ability to shotcall), but in a game like this and how Rito implements things that's not gonna go away anytime soon. So, realistically, it's gonna need some adjustments:

If it's low elo, dynamicQ is fine. In higher up, it should be limited to just solo/duo, then completely solo in masters/challengers. Not only solves matchmaking, but as well as compensation for solo players in general as well. Bring back ranked 5s, there are actually people who are in all different divisions and can't play ranked together in this new DynamicQ thing.

Also, to the OP: just remember that it's a vocal majority of Boards despised DynamicQ, and that people who actually like DynamicQ aren't here because they're more busy playing.

no, but Lyte's superduper accurate poll which didn't say how many participants or how the responsives were contacted/chosen and was made at the start of / before dynamic queue was even released, with a very suggestive question that emphasised only the positive side on first sight, said otherwise.

hope Riot get rid of it because i wont play the game until they bring back solo q

You taking data from a sample that you already know what the answer will be just adds to the propaganda and bullshit surronding DQ. The boards are very anti-DQ but in reality we are the vocal (extreme) minority. If the entire league community really hated DQ you think it would still be here? I'm really tired of the boards and everyones constant DQ bitching and moaning as if they are the centre of the universe and just because this community hates DQ, it should be removed.

I haven't really seen a difference (plat 2). Plat and diamond borders every game so its clearly not full of boosted silvers like people claim. Yeah anecdotal, but I'm just gonna assume the dq panic is just the newest addition to the long and prestigious list of excuses for losing at video games.

Teemodanegro5/20/2016, 11:47:09 PM4 votes

Yes, i like it but. It should be limited to 3 player parties max.

If you wanna play in a team queue make a 5man, and if you only have 4 friends and cant find a 5th... to fucking bad. go socialize.

Weathered5/21/2016, 9:51:51 PM3 votes

But people who like Dynamic Queue won't be on the boards complaining and searching for posts about it, they will be playing the game >.<

I do not like how badly it was done (premades facing non-premades) but I have no problem as a mainly solo player to be in teams of 4 premades.

Lanakila Au5/21/2016, 5:42:53 AM2 votes

I like Dynamic queue, its fun to play with friends. That being said, the game is so much less competitive then it used to be. Never before have you had such a small impact as an individual player. I also have friends that climbed from bronze to gold for the simple fact that they had 4 friends that were gold or higher.

DrCyanide5/21/2016, 2:07:34 PM2 votes

Dynamic Queue is a massive help to me in Silver, regardless of if I'm queuing Solo or with multiple people.

Why? Well, because the biggest factor on if you can win games at this level is "does my team have fewer idiots than the other team?" Premades help keep the stupidity in check, with friends telling friends not to do the dumb things.

Of the horrendous losses I've had, they've been almost completely at the hands of Solo players. No joke, I had a top laner that went 0/13/0, and blamed that terrible performance on our ADC's CS being low... They weren't even trolling, they just had no idea how to stop playing aggressively and would always push up and ignore pings to back away. This isn't the only game I've had where things have been single handedly lost by a Solo player either, there's been quite a few.

I don't care about "ranked integrity," I just want good matches with players of similar skill. Ideally, that would mean Smurfs disappear, as that's yet another problem that's bigger than Dynamic Queue.

I'm in Ranked to try and reach Gold 5, then it's back to Normals for me. There's only so much I can take of spamming the same champions over and over to try and climb.

JESUSSAYSNO5/21/2016, 7:51:29 PM2 votes

yes in the context of unranked, no in the context of ranked.

Iittala5/21/2016, 4:31:06 AM2 votes

I don't like it because many times I play alone.. the clubs feature isn't really working and I don't really make any friends playing league I play about 1 game every other day.

High55/21/2016, 11:37:47 PM2 votes

No and requiring the crafting system to advance mastery levels was greedy.

Game's not ending, but it's turning a corner. Ghostcrawler is not having a positive impact. Reminds me of WoW when money started to mean more than the game.

Dunkrius2g5/22/2016, 2:42:26 AM1 votes

There is only one good thing from DQ. You get either roles. Thats it.

Raeyxx5/21/2016, 8:38:46 PM1 votes

The forums are really not a good place to come take such polls. Most of the forum goers are just on here to complain. :P

Jet Sett5/21/2016, 7:29:44 AM1 votes

Can someone fully explain what DQ is exactly? I just know it isn't directly related to choosing two roles, and is different altogether.
